pstbolanta:What "man" was he talking about here? Stop digging, the words are quite clear. No matter what spin you try to put on it, the writer of 1 Tim. was against women preaching etc. How else do you interprete "but to be in silence". |

Madam tpia fi ara e l'orun le (leave yourself for neck) and stop pressing p.The bible in corinthians does say women should resign themselves to a life of perpetual benchwarming.Of course you could say only corinthian women but then again the book of corinthians propagatees the Lordship of Jesus but maybe only to the corinthians who knows afterall we are free to pick and choose what scriptures to abide by right?O ma se o.We didn't write the bible,we just do as we're told.Bloody feminist.Perhaps you should push for a feminist bible where there'd be writers like Paula,Joan, etc. |

Could I please request madam tpia to read 2 more verses after 1 Cor. 14:34-35 i.e 36 and 37? Ascribing this to Paul shows that you do not take the Bible as God's word though you may say you do. Paul is even saying that it was not his but God's commandment. He then goes to give a simple test of spirituality. I think its very clear. I do not doubt that there are/may be far many women who can preach better than men BUT the word of God forbids it. As you asked earlier on, if a woman goes on to preach knowing she ought not to do so, she is destined to perdition no matter how many people get saved or how many miracles were perfomed. God honors HIS WORD. He said 'NO' my sister. Anything against the word of God is antichrist and the spirit that raises a woman to the pulpit to preach is a rebellious and antichrist spirit. Sorry it might sound rough but thats what is. Believe the whole Bible or dont believe it at all. May revelation be in attendance as we blog on |

I thank God no one has the authority to write his own bible,if not we would have seen the case were all the so called G O's would have launched their own bibles to suite their purpose and to give death sentence to those that have refused to tithe. |

Since we are going by what the Bible says then we need to follow THE WHOLE SCRIPTURE! In these Scriptures its says SONS AND DAUGHTERS Will SPEAK! 2.Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: Joel 2:27-29 (in Context) Joel 2 (Whole Chapter) 3.Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Prophesying REQUIRES ONE TO SPEAK OUT!! What you are promoting is Slavery of Women and THERE IS NO WAY GOD WOULD DO THAT TO HIS PRECIOUS DAUGHTERS! A lot of the Bible was speaking to people for THAT DAY and to certain Churches due to disruption in Church and so forth! Not meant to be a LITERAL teaching for today. It is very Obvious that GOD USES WOMEN to teach! In fact many of them Obey quicker than the man does when called to do such! The type of thing that you are promoting is VERY hurtful to women BELIEVE ME I KNOW! I was abused by my husband with this teaching UNTIL GOD REVEALED IT TO HIM that HE WAS WRONG for abusing me with that very teaching!! Jesus came to SET US FREE not bind all of up into slavery! |

Sorry to say this, it seem like moslems are more honest than the so called Christians, in regard to our holy book. Something was written and it was very clear women should not preach or teach or taken authority over a man especially inside the church but yet you will see some folks still arguing about it.where do we go from here? Apostle paul is a great and anoited mam of God he wrote most of the new testament and we follow all his teaching why is it then, that we don't want to accept this very issue of women preaching in the church, if you say he was referring to the women of corinth, so why are we making reference to that book? That is manipulating the scripture, and that amount to wickedness. The bible says the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom iam not a Muslim. But you will never see a Muslim woman to lead a prayer or to teach in a mosque thats what their quran says and they follow it to the end without any act of compromise, in our own Christiandom opposite is the case. This was the reason ileft my former church where iwas before.A woman can do the work of an evangelist by winning souls to the church then hands them over to the shepherd. But we continue twisting and twisting the bible. Any woman whose violating that commandment has the spirit of pride, she want to gain authority over the men and that is not the gift of holy ghost and it was listed among the fruit of the flesh. May God help us. |

Princewell2012:Leave Muslim to their faith.Yahweh still uses women to speak, teach, preach and prophesy. Since we are going by what the Bible says then we need to follow THE WHOLE SCRIPTURE! In these Scriptures its says SONS AND DAUGHTERS Will SPEAK! 2.Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: Joel 2:27-29 (in Context) Joel 2 (Whole Chapter) 3.Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams This scripture above says it all. If Yahweh doesn't want women he wouldn't have said this, he wouldn't have use them. Nobody is twisting the Bible either. Deborah and prophetess in the Bible was also used by Yahweh too |

However In other for peace to reign we just have to allow so many things be swept under the carpet. Even my wife too was recently ordained as a minister. But the truth must be told. Yes Joel talk about spirit pouring on believers, he says your daughters shall prophesy. Does that not different from mounting the pulpit 2 shall we then discards the words of Apostle Paul which was clearly written? That's my problem. Good evening. |

BroPee:Good. That has been my stand, but women can also go out there and do the work of an evangelist but Paul was just talking about standing on the pupit, which am also against. Yet we believe or take other books written by Paul but refuses to acknowledge that very one for our own selfish interest. God bless you sir. |
