Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has not really impacted on the lives of Deltans and non indigene living in the state.

He keep talking about his pet project "DELTA STATE SMART AGENDA" But it is all rhetorics and big grammar and empty words infact there is virtually no industry or companies in Delta state. Driving of Keke ( tricycle ) is now the pre-occupation of polytechnic, college of education and university graduate.

Come to Asaba, Warri, Sapele, Ughelli, Abraka, Kwale, Oleh, Ozoro, Patani, etc it is all story of neglect, frustration and gross unemployment.

This is not the same story with Ogun state where the state government encourage the massive growth of industries where youth are gainfully employed.

Why can't Delta state youth enjoy job opportunity like their counterpart in Ogun state. There is no youth restiveness or youth crisis but Okowa has no vision.

Okowa is not making any effort to travel abroad to bring in the foreign investors. The governor of Abia state Dr Okezie Ikpeazu recently travelled to China to bring in chinese investors. He also sponsored youth across the various local government in Abia state to China to learn shoe making. That is progess but governor Okowa does not think in this direction.

In fairness to governor Okowa, he met a Delta economy ruined by the global drop in oil price in the International market.

Governor Okowa also met an economy that is allegedly looted by previous administration starting from the past military administrators, etc.

Ex-Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and Ex-governor James Ibori also contributed to the misfortune of the state as they promoted corruption and mala-adminstration during their time as governors.
can anything good come out of a house of thugs and thieves?okowa didnt get there by competence but godfatherism and he has to do the biddings of his masters...

Big lipped and ugly toothed Governor without any tangible trajectory for the development of Delta State!

#Urhobo nationalism is on the rise and many Urhobos are getting wiser with each minute. We have set our mind to the task of bettering our condition in this nation. We demand an all Urhobo State. As the most populous ethnic group in current Delta State, we have the numbers to populate our own state. We ask for resource control for this new Urhobo State, as well as true federalism. If you can't provide us with this, then grant us our independence as the Federal Republic of Urhoboland!

Urhobo demands for equity and fair play. Although we won't tow the path of the Biafran noisemakers or Nnamdi Kanu, we will get our demands one way or another. We need an Urhobo State without Igbos or any other ethnicity.

Ihwo r'Urhobo, kpani' odetionye? WadooooO!

N.B: It should be noted that Urhobos are not part of Biafra and do not partake in Nnamdi Kanu's terrorist activities. We are peace loving Nigerians who believe in the rule of law in everything.
Bros greetings, the truth be told, for how long shall we continue to rant and do nothing while we watch some clueless and devilish men plunder away our future. More than ever, we all need to get into this politic that hand these clueless men power. If we must see change, if truly we desire to progress, then you and I and the rest of others need to also get involved in whatever these people to power. It's OK to rant, but it doesn't change anything. We just need to get involved. It's the only way power can be handed to the right people. We have brilliant minds in these nation. All they need is a chance, and you don't get that chance unless you get involved.

What's d mata with this crazi mofo. am Deltan n am proud to say I feel the effects of the unrelenting works of my Gov. lately Delta state was all fun wen my Gov Sen Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa hosted the delta state sports festival. currently all technical schools r under renovation n D delta state govt has acquired lands from different parts of the state including Ogwashi-Uku for Agricultural development. My Gov works unlike d previous thieves that looted Delta dry. Okowa even incurred debt owed by d previous uduaghan administration yet d man is still working. Bleep u Hater of Progress.

We are one in delta state, we remain part of delta state, we are part of Nigeria and if the larger biafra is the way to go, we will negotiate and be part of it.

As for true federalism, I have maintained, our people are not serious therefore it's not going to happen.

Back to delta state, an Urohbo man have been governor for 8 years, an itsekiri man was governor for 8 years, an Ika man is presently governor we must support him as we supported others (not in criminality). I've told my people, if it's for governor, Urohbo should back off. I hate such bad blood we want to bring into a state we are managing.

1. It is URHOBO not Urohbo
2. URHOBO WILL NEVER BE A PART OF BIAFRA! Don't even bring that as an option. This is an already settled issue: www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/urhobo-denounces-inclusion-in-map-of-biafra/
3. Urhobos will have her own State soon enough so that you, whoever you and your ethnic group are, can fight over it.
4. Even in the Delta Setup, Urhobos will produce the next Governor. You seem to be oblivious of the PDP rotation system (Central ruled from 1999-2007, South from 2007-2015, North from 2015-...). After North, it goes back to Central again. So you see? Urhobo still wins!

Okowa lacks vision and mission. He is not doing anything different in his administration that will bring Delta State to an enviable height. I have not seen tangible project he has done or doing two years down the road. To say the least, Delta State has been bereft of quality leaders and she is now CARRYING LAST!

then try and visit otor- udu local government, the present of the state government is not felt here........ the road that leads to the secretariat needs expansion most especially express junction......

owvian grammar school also need attention: is disheartening that the school were he campaign his hopeless SMART agenda is in a sorry state........most of the villages when going to aladja are UN motorable. am not saying he should rehabilitate the road that leads to aladja .........

let me assume that he did not pass through that dead trap bridge when he was coming to owvian grammar school doing his campaign period but i believ that his followers has pass through the bridge and see how shaking it is........ this few are things okowa can use to win the heart of this people (otor- udu people) there have been neglected by successive government.
