after the Hausa vs Yoruba clash at ife, only yorubas were arrested including an oba, they're still unjustly detained till today plus many other problems affecting the yorubas but you hardly see them agitate or discuss their problems rather they would be moving from one igbo thread to another spewing hatred over what is not their concern. a famous sage said that "an unexamined life is not worth living"

Loooonatic uninformed flatiyeasterners like you will not fail to amaze me. sad

Only 6 people are standing trial as regards the massacre of abokkkis in Ife. Others have been released. And they too will be released.

I believe the arrests were a smokescreen to prevent reprisals in the north that would have consumed more flatiyeasterners than Yorubas.

I dont give a fcccck about Biafra. I care less. cool

Let me educate you small:

40% of major oil wells owners in the Niger Delta are Igbos! Yes, I said it! And I will give you proof if you want. Andy Uba and Emeka Offor both control more than 10% of the entire oil wealth in Nigeria!

So as much as you'd want to blame Yorubas for enjoying the benefits of Oil wells, Igbos are also part of it. Igbos own oil wells in Ijawland, Urhoboland, Itsekiriland, etc, and they make billions from them. How many Urhobos, Ijaws, Itsekiris, Isokos, etc, have oil wells?

Before you cast a stone, introspect first!

Always think and make proper research before telling the whole world how ignorant you are.If Igbos own 40% of niger delta oil well,by now you "South Westerners" would've finished them with propaganda, hatred, bigotry and slander because that's what you're best at.

I sincerely thank you for those pictures of starved Igbo people during Biafra. It truly convinced me as an Igbo man to know where I am coming from, and in the same stance to know where am heading to as an individual in this country.

Please send more am saving them, will build a library with them on my phone.

You are doing a good job. Those images will convince Igbo people like us sitting on the fence to join with one voice of our brothers.

The suffering and the death of those heroes can never be in vain.

Thanks for convincing me strongly.

This is a clear indication of where biafra lies, with the 5 igbo states!

I'm in PH. There is movement and work as usual. I'm sure same is for yenagoa Asaba uyo calabar which are not Igbo cities.

I have nothing against Biafra movement but it should not include us here in PH.

Asaba is an Igbo city, although the population is diluted with pockets of Urhobos/Isokos, Itsekiris, Ijaws, etc. But it is still an IGBO city!

The sit-at-home today is pretty serious but there are other angles to it. Vehicles are a bit limited as opposed to what it used to be like on the roads. The sad part is that the so-called day set aside for honouring the deads aka 'heroes' has no significance as the meaning is lost to agitators.

I saw a couple of folks this morning downing beers as their own way of 'honouring' their fallen and it leaves you wondering if indeed the day is set out to remember or have a festive holiday.

Truth is, the stay at home is impressive all thanks to fear. Fear of attack on innocent, non-compliant folks and fear of attack by military personnel.

Either way, people have become wiser, which is laudable.

To the truth now, the stay at home doesn't really make sense since people would end up losing in the end. Expected revenues for today is lost as it stands, and most importantly, for the five Eastern states. Eventually, everyone would pick their lives from where they left it and resume to their places of work tomorrow.

My brother, please let the Igbos be.There're better things you could do with your time rather than taunting them. They've made up their minds to leave the union because it doesn't favor them. Why not mind your business rather than hate, abuse, slander and wish them evil.If we feel Nigeria is best for the rest of us,why don't we help them actualize their dream and then live in our perfect country which is made up of perfect people, perfect leaders without sin.

Even if u go to this two markets by 12-1 midnight u wil still buy ur goods and still find drivers to convey ur goods to ur destination, But today everyone is observing Biafran Day..

Long Live BIAFRA..
BIAFRA till death do us part..

Nigerians now know that this movement is not a fluke. It is good to see that this traders can close their business for something."If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything.”

Maybe you mistake my intentions. I do want the Igbos to go. Nigeria is a bad setup for the nature of Igbos. The kind of politricking that goes on in Nigeria is not what Igbos want to do. So their best bet is to have a self-government region or nation where they can rule themselves however they should.

However, the Igbo secessionists should realise that one of the problems with Nigeria is its multiethnic nature. If Biafra is to succeed and be different from Nigeria, it should be a purely Igboid nation; an Alaigbo! Sadly, many Ipob youths go on the rampage adding uninterested tribes that are even apathetic to Igbos in the cause. It is this that I have a quarrel with.

So much hatred for the igbos. I only see a strong desire by the igbos to achieve their collective destiny. I only want to see this resolve for a sovereign nation be tested by a referendum. No need for all these name calling nor blood shedding. If you guys hate igbos this much, you can give voice to a referendum so they will leave you people in peace and just stop hating.

See it from this angle..
The SIT-AT-HOME order was given, and it was left for Biafrans to decide to obey or not..
IPOB members promised to SIT-AT-HOME too,, and that there would be NO protests anywhere.. Nobody would be forced inside if they decide not to obey..
NOW,, BIAFRANS OBEYED THE ORDER ON THEIR OWN FREE-WILL AND VOLITION..
They sacrificed whatever gains they might have made today..
What does that show you.??
