correct. The achievements of great men cannot be cast away by mere propaganda, that's life for you.When i see people praising Ambode and deriding Fashola, i just laugh at their hypocrisy.If these people can use the same mouth that have hitherto praise Fashola to high heavens now praise Ambode at the expense of Fashola,then Ambode should expect same treatment after office.

I also need to add this if Ambode doesn't have any squabbles with Tinubu throughout his tenure in office , that should tell a story to the discernible mind.

The present dispensation should continue if they like, but for the the citizens who aren't swayed easily by mere political gimmicks, Fashola has done his own part to putting Lagos on the path to excellence which is obvious. Let Governor Ambode do his own. Eko oo ni baje

But who is beefing who ?
Mr Ambode claimed months back that Mr Fashola does not want to approve the project, of which the PWH Minister explained its before the Executive. Now the Executive has approved it and the Governor refuses to acknoledge the input of the Miniter for PWH.
Which ever way, what the people want to see is development. Whoever that does it, just let it be done.

You are being unfair to the man. The Fashola we know in Lagos state is not the one you are describing oga.
Despite the lean pocket of FG, look at the work the man has been doing on major high ways:Lagos-Ibadan, Sagamu - Ore-Benin, even Kabba - Ilorin. The power sector is not responding because of the magnitude of the damage and vested interest. Give it to the man, he is a hard working and result oriented man. Yes, Ambode is also my guy, let him keep up the speed of the work in LAGOS so that he can dwarf the achievement of Fashola, that is our wish, and I presume the wish of Fashola himself. It's not about personal interest.
Finally thank you to Asiwaju for producing the two guys for LAGOS, please help us manage them to the best interest of Nigerians.

Why would federal goverment be construting road in states, let all the roads be handed over to the state goverment and focus more on the policies that will make the economy better

My brother, you just said the truth. All I remember Fashola for now in Lagos is just his flowers. Then Fashola kept blasting Jonathan to fix Apapa Road. Now that he Fashola is the minister in charge, what single thing has he done on that road. I bless the Lord for bringing a man like Ambode as Governor.

Kindly comprehend Elementary explanations given in the news for assimilation. Flash Back to Jonathan Era, Fashola had same issue with Okonjo on world bank loan for approval. Before such funds or project involving federal government gets to The President, it goes through the Ministry concerned . When a President also approves any project , it goes through ths ministry concerned. Read and Digest before replying.

It would be recalled that the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing in its reaction said the delay in granting the request the of Lagos State was because the Memorandum conveying the request of Lagos State which was already before the Federal Executive Council has not reached completion stage.

“The Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing Ministry has presented the Memorandum conveying the request of the Lagos State Government to the Federal Executive Council as was done with a similar request by the Kaduna State Government in 2016”.

Dont let the headline deceive you ,the request had been sent when Fashola was the Governor of lagos ,and he stated this morning on sunrise daily on channels tv that he had sent the approved letter to ambode yesterday that FG has finally gave Lagos the go ahead.

He sent the letter after the Vice President vetoed(approved) it without his effort undecided undecided undecided He is just saving face and i am surprised that you bought it grin grin grin

No Minister has such power. LG chairman, state governor and the presidency have more powers to act than their appointees
