[quote author=Kathmandu post=57063538] The Muslims should have respected the traditions and customs of the town. Why blaming the Muslims,so because some people are doing their masquerade they should stop worshipping their own God? 1 Like |

Kathmandu:[b]Furkkin right! I see no reason why anybody who claims "Boko (is) Haram" should be using cameras, computers, cars, phones, the internet or even western-manufactured condoms and pornography ! These guys are just furkking confused hypocrites running around with a murderous, outdated religious worldview that's actually a psycho-social cancer in the macro sense or how do you view someone going round killing neighbors and total strangers while aiming to die in the process so as to go get 70 virgins with overloaded bosoms in heaven, furkkers! The Middle East affords and uses the best of all Western comforts, that even some folks in the Western World aren't able to consume themselves, yet they rave, rant and rail against the same societies producing the liberties that could gift them such comforts in the first place. Unfortunately, their useless book is full of acts of their demented prophet outing himself on simple things like relating civilly with people. And they keep living it out because they refused to read their damned holy book with objectivity and commonsense. While some of them are busy furiously trying to convince us they're "pissful", the real crew who know what their shyt's really about keep bombing shyt up everywhere like genocidal fucktards. Even in their native Arab countries, are they content, noooo?! Just yesterday now, in their predominantly jihadist societies, they bombed Kabul, over 80-96 people dead, they'd be looking for Aid, seeking for asylum in Europe etc. When they get admitted into the EU countries, give them a few months, they start bitching, raping, bombing and fixing on killing their hosts again? No religious tolerance, no sense of live-and-let-live, not one modicum of ideological diversity, or even the most basic sense of freedom rights. Any scalawag imam just feels he can issue fatwas and they start hunting people upandan, they're a curse on the modern world. They're still mostly here based on the initial tolerance of the politically-correct western institution who put in place the same various Liberty and Free Society accords they enjoy and still disdain now; and of course their almighty Oil/petro-dollars! Seriously, if China had emerged the dominant world power instead of the US/EU nations after the WWII etc; I doubt if they'd have even let these bastards grow old enough to sniff their own arssholes! But, locally I think our sensible Naija people of all religions need to evaluate the effect of religious intolerance crimes and really live beyond the bullshyt of killing people in 'defence of gods'; whatever god really! Any god that's not able to fight for itself deserves to be abandoned in antiquity and not living like an alien cancer in the brains of men and riding on their shoulders, with pride, like a lord! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Kathmandu: So where's the freedom of religion and association as enshrined in the Nigerian constitution. That no religion activity should prevent or interfere with others. It is better you keep mute and be taught a fool; than open your mouth and remove all doubt! Bigotry! 1 Like |

Daboomb: I don't know the type of religion you practice. But picture this scenario. You are an ifa worshiper and because the Christians are doing Christmas, you were now told not to practice your rituals, how would you feel? Or because the Muslim festive period conicides with the Christians and the Christians told the Muslims to reduce their noise because they are disturbing their peace, how would you judge that? What they are saying here is that the Muslims were praying and not disturbing nobody nor stopping or interrupting the masqueraders from performing their rights. If you still can't understand this my dear, then you are one of those people that thinks what they know is enough for them and I can only but sympathize with you |

kimond101:-Saying that Nigeria has a law for homosexuality but America will not be cool with it has no relevance to the question. Nigeria does not claim to be an Islamic country neither does America. -Who spoke about Boko Haram here or whether they are practicing Islam or not? -Yes I know more than a few good muslims around, I used to be one. But my point remains, why do these countries see it fit to impose their laws on a minority if indeed "lakum deenukum waliya deen". I notice your first line emphasised that they are "Muslim majority" countries. Which is good and fine. Would you still appreciate this same treatment if Muslims were in the minority. Like if Muslims were not allowed to perform salat in the streets as they're allowed to do in most American cities now or do suhoor in large gatherings as they do outdoors in large gatherings in the UK. These are rights and liberties that "Kuffar majority" countries grant the ummah. So my question was pretty straight. Is it okay to impose our own preference when Muslims are the majority? 4 Likes |

Ayo Fayose should resign for allowing such nonsense or they declare a state of emergency in Ekiti, check the nonsense with the filling station owners, the fuel scarcity being experienced by the common, the unpaid salaries and wages and several more. He is just incompetent, fraudulent and lousy |

Kathmandu: It is quite unfortunate that someone could reason this way. We were born into or adopted different religion and our individual religious preferences should be respected. I think this attack on the muslim faithfuls is barbaric and condemnable. You mentioned Oro in Lagos, does Oro come out in the day? Let me refresh your memory, it is the Yoruba custom and belief that "a responsible child does not walk in the midnight" (Eni abi re kin rin irin oru)... Don't they hold Egun Festival in Lagos? have you heard of they attacking the muslims in the mosques or the Xtians in the churches?..since the Muslims did not disrupt or interfere in their Egun Festival, it is morally, religiously and legally unjustifiable for the Masqueraders to attack them in the worship of their God.... |
