Criticizing Buhari is more important than making life comfortable for Ekiti people. Please bear with us.

OP is a bloody liar. I stay in Ekiti and what happened was that a petrol station constructed close to a market and residential building got burnt months ago (The news was on nairaland sef, with Fayose holding a water hose to assist the firemen lol). The owner of the filling station didn't insure it and that led to people's shops affected not to be paid. Because the petrol station owner allegedly gave them 10k each. This made fayose to order the demolition of all petrol station close to residential area, market, school, hospital etc. They striked at first and didn't sell fuel for few days, later they opened after negotiations. The result of the negotiation was that every petrol station should be insured. That was still not done within the time frame given and Fayose ordered for demolition instead. This is the cause of the current situation!

Fayose: Buhari and APC are responsible for the fuel crisis in Ekiti. It is Buhari's evil attempt to undermine the Fayose government for constantly criticizing the federal government. In fact, Buhari must resign so that fuel can be available again in Ekiti. grin grin grin
Iam sorry to.let.you know that's this is the dumpest.comment have ever seen how Buhari.FG be the.cause of fuel scarcity in Ekiti, Fayose is on self descruction mode so pity for Fayose rather than solve the major crisis Fayose is busy abusing Buhari FG Government he personally ordered that all filling station built close to a resident building close he's reasons was that the association filling station.owners were.part of.people been used by certain political individuals.to.destabilizes his.government my pity goes to.Ekiti people.

cool stuff
Get your facts well op. The problem with them is for the preservation of life and properties of Ekiti people. He told them to relocate their filling stations from residential avenue to non residential and they refused to adhere to that. It is the issue with them not money.
Re: Gov. Fayose And Petrol Sellers At Loggerheads, Black Market Takes Over. by Ajadiboye(m): 5:01pm On Jun 01, 2017
He only asked them to insure their filling stations against unforeseen circumstance. A filling station caught fire & burnt a house beside it, all the manager could do was to present 10k to the owner of the burnt house... na from there yawa com gass.

Any filling station with a proof of insurance is free to operate, apparently, no filling station in the whole of Ekiti state is insured as we speak.

Most states are running low on cash, especially since the fall in oil prcies means that allocations from Abuja are failling.

So the only option is to tax, and tax and raise taxes.

Gov Fayose is a funny governor...but he has no choice. Unless oil goes up to $100 again....it is either he raises taxes....or he cuts jobs in the civil service plus government services.
Either way, this is a good thing. The people of Ekiti must come to appreciate that there is a link between what they pay in taxes, and what they receive in return, whether in the form of capital expenditure or deadweight government "jobs". Once they realise as much, I suspect their enthusiasm for a bloated public payroll will decline drastically.

Someone who is mentally decrepit that couldn't create a single job, is taxing existing jobs, it's ok shaa, Ekiti bread attract Ekiti bakers.

Bros, what of Coca-Cola, Eco bank and Gtbank. All the above have moved out Ekiti state. It's the masses that will suffer all the taxes he's putting on all the companies. They should resolve at once and let there be piece. After all he's owing workers 6,7 and some 8 months salaries.
