Should have removed fuel subsidy in 2012....but no, cheap fuel price was better than sensible economic decisions.



Thing is....so long as we keep on importing fuel to meet our needs....expect price increases.

And so long as oil stays at $50 ......that means no cash for subsidies....expect price increases.

We need more refineries....and better public transport.

Still on the blame game and "should haves"? Don't worry, after the 2 remaining years let's see who or what will be blamed then.

By the way, has the supposed subsidy not been removed by this confused government? Is petrol not almost double already?

And then, we could afford to cut fuel prices. Oil was at $100 and above. Now it is at $50. We don;t have the money to even pay salaries...talkless of paying fuel subsidy.
