Icon4s:I don't know if it will be a good idea starting Omeruo against South Africa. The last time he played against them in the same stadium, he was twisted in knots by the Bafana boys. Physiologically I don't know what his frame of mind will be facing same opposition (Ranti) once again in Uyo. It's better he stayed out of this one. |

goldfish80:Who would you rather recommend for the game against SA? |

Icon4s:For the Rb/LB I will prefer Shehu/Elderson started. Throwing Ebuehi straight into the deep end is a huge risk, which won't be a smart decision at all. |

goldfish80:Funny. Shits happen in football. That was one of them. You also recal Omeruo's heroics againts Drogba at the 2013 AFCON? That was then and this is now. What matters most are his current abilities. Omeruo is a proven player. I would rather start him than start Awaziem against SA. |

goldfish80:That is exactly my point. There is no better RB. Ebuehi is a back-up to Shehu IMO. |

Icon4s:I know about Omeruo's abilities. I will always rate him as one of our better defenders. However, I'm looking at his frame of mind playing against SA again, knowing fully well that the last time he cost the country an AFCON qualification. All these could be playing on his mind and physiologically, he might want to be too careful this time which would open him up for errors. Against another opposition, I will start Omeruo but not this one. |

Mujtahida:i know, right? He always look so awkward especially in carriage. Highly uninspiring fellow, can't wait to stop seeing him on the roster |

goldfish80:These are porfessionals my brother. That may even spur him to perform better. I don't see any problems here. Defending is a collective effort. If all the back four are in good shape there would be cohesion and no room for slip ups. |

Mickael2:Oga, please read this, the comment I quoted and called you out on, particularly the second very useless point you felt the need to highlight Mickael2:you don't always have to talk because you think you have an opinion, some opinions are best kept to yourself |

safarigirl:Go take a look at Peter Rufai back in the days - he looked fierce, confident and determined like a true warrior. Those things count. They do. Even something as little as a firm handshake creates impressions. Some goalkeepers know how to intimidate forwards like the great Peter Schiemechel (Denmark, Manchester United). Ezenwa looks craven. I pray Ikeme overcomes his injury travails. And who has heard about him? Is he still nursing his injury? |

Why is Alex Iwobi's stockings always rolled down? He reminds me of those old school village teachers. His style is unique anyway. |

I bet you if Omeruo had play the game yesterday, the match would've ended 3-1. Error full the guy body, the s/Africa and Zambia game comes to mind. |

Central defense parings are very crucial. It is hardly changed if it's working. Awaziem will start alongside Ekong. It is the Right back position that is a toss up between Shehu and Omeruo. Omeruo won't start as a central defender. He hasn't played that position for us MOST recently. Icon4s: |

So my people. We just wasted like 4 pages arguing whether that Togo friendly counts or not FIFA-wise . na wa oh I dey look una dey waste pages lol. Corsica nko?. Don't forget the purpose of friendlies. Whether it will add to the ranking or not, something was achieved. And that's the most important thing. |

safarigirl:How you take know say he had better luck with the former wife? Calabar girls are legends ooo. True Musa can disappoint sha but let's just give him a chance. Give all of them a chance except Ideye and Ighalo. That's what I said to Komekn about Osimhen-time and chance. Musa is likely to start against South Africa in the absence of Vicmo |

Owngoal says: "Ahmed Musa looks settled…marriage must be good He scored twice within the first 20 minutes to equal the number of goals he had scored for the Super Eagles over the last two years. Overall, he looked sharp despite not playing often at Leicester and was a constant threat for the Togolese. We guess his new marriage has something to do with his new improved state of mind." so just maybe it will be different from now on hahaha safarigirl: |

safarigirl:Shey you know football is a physical parable of the relationship between men and what they love the most - women. It's not for nothing football is called Jogo Bonito-the beautiful game by the Brazilians. A man dribbles, endures tackles, sweats, shoots and scores. And there's wild celebration. Go figure! |

Mujtahida:of.course Musa will start in the absence of VicMo, when VicMo returns, he shall return to the bench. Calabar girls are myth, not legend |

Mujtahida:he has a new toy for now, he will soon tire of her, but before then, he will return to his shitty play. Let us all hope this little oppprtunist he put inside his house is an enduring woman for when his career begins to wobble. And for the record, yes, I am hating on Musa ![]() |

safarigirl:Pray for your man not to fall into their hands oo cos if he does the myth will become a legend. But truth is, traditionally in the culture of the Efiks, Anangs and ibibio's the women are taught how to treat men as Kings. Where specifically is the lady from? |
