Hmmm....let me chew this one. Sent to settle a land dispute.... stopped along the way to rescue man from thugs... Inspector instructed both officers to take victim to car (while he remains with the thugs). Question....if they stumbled upon the scene... shouldn't the car be right there? How can he be kidnapped in the presence of the other two officers? Did the chief send the thugs to stage a scene and kill the inspector?...then why spare the witnessing two officers? Did the thugs decide to kill the Inspector?...then why tie him up and bury him?...they had time to burn? I see no reason why the Chief and the two officers are not in custody. No doubt, the N2m refused by the family was accepted by someone else to disrupt any investigations. |
