OTA, production ring not insider. Only about thirteen phones qualifies for the CU update.

Currently yes. After upgrading to windows 10, after some days my fone got another update that's as the creators update. I noticed slight upgrade in my stores file arrays and the Lumia creative studio was a hit for me. However some apps was discontinued on Windows 10 .bbm, mix radio etc

I don't think bbm ever worked on Windows mobile. Nairaland works on edge for me, you can try Coc Coc browser out.

Nop bbm works fine on windows 8.1 have it on my second 1520 running 8.1.

I don't know why that is, it works on my edge. Perhaps you do a soft reset.

Think it's a CU fix. Still doesn't work on mine. Might as well get used to the possibility that it never will.

Yea, it came like the regular patch on Tuesdays of every month. Sorry about your model being left out but you could check for a update though not the CU. I think i read something like that for the phones left out.

My 535 drains battery faster than normal for a while despite doing all the recent updates. I don't even browse on it anymore cause once the data comes on, it starts heating up around the top region. Na only music dey last on top am. And no, its not my battery because I've used several original batteries on it and its still same ......... or could it be cause I charge using Desktop charger?

Perhaps you do a hard reset? Plus i don't think 535 is currently being supported on the CU update.

How do I do a hard reset?
My phone has refused to come up after installing the recent update. Its getting studied on the windows logo screen.

Vorpal:
You can do that by going to the 'settings' under 'system' then 'about'

Or you can just use the WDRT tool on a computer.

Being unable to browse on my phone, my subscription finished and I swapped my Mtn sim with another one with subscription, I have since renewed my subscription but have not being able to browse.

I have performed a soft reset and spoken to a couple of customer care agents with no luck.

Any solution? Has any one had a similar experience?

Sorry, its Lumia 640. My laptop browses fine using the phone's hotspot, but i cant browse on the phone.

check if you have to do any application updates in the store next check if you have to do a phone update if not it might have to be a hard reset finally. I'm only suggesting these as I've not home through your situation before
