You are right but like some persons have said already, he is aging, he has done all the dribbles, take-ons and the likes when he was younger, he has moulded himself to be a prolific goal - scorer at 32, in the whole world right now, he is the best at it.

IMO Ronaldo has surpassed Maradona a long time ago. I personally believe hes on par or even beyond Pele when the the parameters are adjusted to factor in differences in era, but that's a different argument.

Messi is pushing him close, and has age on his side, but currently Ororo is the greatest footballer of the modern age...

He's not the best at it. He is the second-best.
He ended the season with a total of 42 goals (7 penalties). Only reason he even scored one goal more than Messi in UCL was because Barça bowed out in the Quarter finals.

Messi on the other hand scored a walloping 57 goals - despite having to drop deep on several occassions, endure the shortcomings of an impotent midfield, and share spotlight with Neymar and Suarez.
