We have arable land, we have unemployed, yet we are net importers instead of exporters of food.

How?

Instead of creating more and more teaching engagements like NYSC and N-power, the govt should have a compulsory one year youth agric scheme. At the end of the program you may be given the option of share-cropping with the government.

I have a good job but i am currently talking to a farmer to teach me how to farm. i don't know why this country is not thinking in this direction.
