What else gives me joy than to see smokers, drunkards, liars, prostututes, witches, thieves, armed robbers, moralists and religious sinners come to Church or any Christian program and get genuinely born again? If that is what you are doing sir, may God grant you more open doors to win more sinners to Christ and teach them all that Christ has commanded us (Matthew 28:18-20). I'm sorry if I got you wrong. But I don't remember calling any name. Who is a religious entrepreneur? He or she is one who gathers people in the name of God, tells them what appeals to them instead of what God wants them to hear. He is one who flatters sinners in order to retain and make merchandise of them (2nd Peter 2:3) If that is not what you and your group are doing, then you are not religious entrepreneurs. But the fact remains that there are religious entrepreneurs. "By their fruits, ye shall know them" (Matthew 7:15-20).

We are still saying the same thing but in different ways.
To allow him to be Lord or master of our lives is the same thing as to believe and come into the faith first. At that point we are saved. Yes, we were saved to live our life for him by our thoughts, words. But even if we choose to do otherwise our salvation has already been given to us freely, hoping we will retrace our paths someday like the prodigal son.
we can be terrible people and suffering the consequences and keep learning gradually to do things right but our salvation is already assured because we have believed first.
Does that mean God condone sinfulness?

Ofcourse he has the final say to how everybody live their lives whether you believe or not. Whether you are Muslim, athiest ,Hindu, christian or whatever religion, he has the final say to how you live your life. Karma visits everyone irrespective of their religion. This means, he is also Lord of everyone's life irrespective of who you are, but not to the extent of saving the individual when he dies until he abandons his home religion to join the Christian faith, for without faith it is impossible to please him.
The bible says, just like Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness so shall the son of man be lifted.
Today, Christianity has been lifted, there is no nation in the world currently that has not heard about Christianity.
Unfortunately pastors are not preaching Christianity, they are preaching repentance.
They fail to realise that even Muslims do repent, but does that make them saved?

So, we all have to join Christianity(assuming we were of other religions because Jesus is the only way) by believing that Jesus is the Christ, at that point we have made him lord and master of our lives and we are saved.
See, there is nothing special about our lives as christians from people of other religions. The only difference is that the day we die only christians will be resurrected

I am born again. Talk for yourself sir. No pastor is my model, only Christ is. John 3:3 refers to all men and women in all generations. Yes, there are multitudes that are commiting (terrible) sins including 'pastors' because they are not yet born again or are backslidden. If Jesus comes into your life, you will not struggle to please God. You will just be happy Christian. Try and see.

Pastors are not to preach Christianity or just repentance. They are to preach Jesus cos that's what the sinner needs.

We are to preach Jesus, the crucified Who came to save the world from sin and all the works of the devil. We preach Christ because He is the only One capable of rescuing a sinner from the clutches of sin. But the sinner must be willing to be saved. This is where repentance comes in which is basically confessing of one's sins, turning away from them and unto the Saviour. Preaching Jesus without talking repentance is akin to teaching CRK in a primary, secondary or theological school. It fills the brain with knowledge without any change of heart, life and destiny.

Read your bible, you will hardly find Jesus handing out gifts by himself. Of course they had a purse from which He ensured the poor benefited from; but he wasn't the one giving out the gifts personally. He had disciples who did that.

I know several CE ministers who do such giving on a regular. Some in dollars, to security, staff members etc.

At the airport for instance, if CE were to get involved you'll hear something like: "FREE flights back to school, to and from Lagos for indigent children in celebration of the birthday of our man of God Pastor Chris."

Infact this was why he told his disciples strive to enter the gate of eternal life.
You are a Christian already in eternal life don't demote yourself to that level.
Jesus disciples who followed Jesus as at the time he was yet to be crucified were the people Jesus referred to as born again, they never had eternal life because he was yet to be crucified.
Among these people were Peter, Andrew, James and John, etc. Including John the Baptist who was killed and never saw Christianity and was not saved.
But today, we have seen Christianity, we are far better than them.
Jesus specifically says the least person in Christianity is greater than John the Baptist and all the prophets of the old, including Elijah.
