Then they might as well prepare to die!

This is only a warning, the handwriting have always been on the wall, they had decades to plan better and repatriate profits back home in the East to invest, instead they chose to keep re investing in the North.
The hand the advantage of hindsight, ie 1966 pogroms to know that investing in the North should only be a temporary solution to make money that should be re invested in the East, yet they hardened their hearts.

These category of Igbos are the ones who the very mention of Biafra angers, they have been blinded by their stupidity and greed that they reason that the rest of us should forget our freedom( Biafra) so that they can continue investing in the North and live as Nigerians.

They are on a long thing.

Ndiigbo should issue a formal declaration for them to start relocating home alongside their investments , and if they persist, their deaths should not force us into rash decisions, cos that's exactly what these Northerners want right now.
They want the substitution of force of diplomacy and negotiation with violence and counter violence, now that we are beginning to penetrate the walls of NASS with our agitation.

We mustnt let that happen, we must stay in control of the situation and work on our Own timeline.

You will not blame them totally because the eastern governors were not ready to bring them home since the 90s when they started buying these lands from the northerners. Brother, if you are here, then you will see the amount of money they have buried in this land of which would have changed the destiny of the igbo tribe in the next 100years.

Igbos have spent so much outside it shores than inside the shores. If they had used the east as their launching pad, it would have been better. The total asset of igbos in this country is close to 200 trillion naira. The way they spread these investments in this country, the east would have been choked with commercial activities and forcing the natives to settle in neighbouring southern states because it will be a big market and industrial cluster.

Ngo, please calm down. Can you do a thread on this Issue? Our people need to start relocating asp. In the end it will be for our good, because much investment will move back to the East. It has to start now.

What do you mean by saying that Igbo governors were not ready to bring them home?

Did our governors stop any of them from buying landed property back home and re investing the profits they made in the North and SW back home?

How many riots have we had in the North in the last decades where they were prime targets of Northerners yet they never thought of diverting their investments back home, instead they kept on acquiring more lands up North.

What was there plans? That Biafra won't come back to life ever again?
How many investments did the Northerners like Dangote make in the East.

Its a pity, but we might all have to start afresh again. Too bad.
But we all knew this day would eventually come. The sun was always going to rise in the East, Never to set again and that hostile Nigerians would seek to repeat their wickedness all over again.
Why then did we live in the SW and North and forced ourselves to forget of this very day of reckoning, why?

This is very painful, but freedom is priceless,

So how do u reconcile being on the sidelines and asking Southerners to wake up? Wake up and do what? Sit on the sidelines too? Then how does anything get done? It is said that you must stand for something or fall for anything. You'd be better off firmly declaring your stand for an independent yoruba country or one left over entity with the North.

For the people to leave the kano I know, it will take an earthquake to remove them from this place. Many of them have erected houses, plazas, churches, shops and hotels in this kano. Their total asset in the kano is in trillions, to be very sincere with you. For these people to start leaving these things behind, then you can as well tell them to die. This is a very strong information i got from many of these businessmen.

So why the noise for biafra?

None of us feel sorry for any igbo up north or even west that would lose their property or wealth.

You supposed to learn from history but many igbo did not hence they will repeat the same mistake which made their parents start from square one.

My family lost everything during the first biafra war. We took up from my grandad mistake and NONE of his children built anything outside of igboland, not one single property. My siblings and I also made sure whatever we have isn't outside the shores of igboland excluding my brother who built a house in AK. What stopped those ones in North from learning from their grandparents mistake.

I feel zero pity for those up north. Personally I think those up north are fools in my opinion.

It is surely a pity that we made the agitation in the public eye too fast and it has made everyone aware of our plans. if not, these people coult have sold all their properties within a year and leave. but if they come out and sell them, they will be buying them for crumbs price and that will affect them badly. Moreover, the price of landed properties in the east is not cheap as it is in the north. Since they found out it is cheap, they delved into it. Some have hectares of land that they have planned for major investment purpose in the north here. Biafra should have been discussed in village meetings earlier and make them to be more aware of their environments.

But the Biafran agitation have been on since 1999 when Uwazuruike formed MASSOB. Between 1999- 2017, that's almost 20years. Was that not enough time for these people to plan re investment of profits made from business ventures in the North, in the East?

What other awareness were they looking for?
So they were even buying up more lands up North for more investments?
Land is not costly in all parts of the East. There are still places in the East where lands are affordable, and moreover, if we don't invest in the East, despite exorbitant land prices, who would?

Trust me, the North can try anything, they can't do anything to the Southerners in the North.

Any wrong move from the North will lead to disintegration and the North will loose big time.

Like I said they would not get one pity from any of us nor compensation for their stupidity. If they like, let them continue staying up north till Oct 10, if the north attacks them, they committed suicide as far as I'm concerned. We will avenge them though but their stupidity is their own fault.

History was there from all to learn, whose fault it that they did not?

You people don't understand that Yoruba is highly divided along two lines - religion (christian and Moslem) and class (the elite and the commoner). So, how do you expect us to just jump into declaring an independent country without first agrreing amongst ourselves and when those thieves in the chamber don't buy this idea of restructuring? Ditto for the ibos.
You need to take back this comment. It's highly reprehensible. Isokan lowa lawujo omo kaaro'jire regardless of religion or social status. Oti wabe lati atetekose yet Yoruba remains as one indissoluble Nation.

Moreover, this thread is about Hausa/fulani Vs Ibos. I guess Yorubas should just watch on while the North come in & perhaps screw them as usual.

The thing weak me bro.

My maternal home were based in the North
My mother was born in the North as well as her siblings, my grandfather had lots of investments in places like Darazo, Potiskum, Bauchi and Kano before the war.
He learnt the bitter way after the coup and the family was lucky to survive the pogrom.
Only the investments in Bauchi survived after the war.
