am igbo. I have never really supported Biafra, i kind of believe that we can progress despite the diversity. But with statements like this, it's obvious we are not one, and i think we are better off as a new republic

exactly now ur talking as nwaada igbo. they are trying to be mischevious plainly because we stand to lose alot from them than they lose with us (shoe makers and some cattle rarers). they feel threatened by the constant bickering online for biafran because the igbos aren't serious about it. it's a threat they keep using to see if Nigeria will be cowed and allow them rule. but that should not be so. why can't igbos compete in the political sphere here. even though I hate Nigeria and all it stands for, why cant there be idealist plans towards self determination that isn't centered on hate for other people. there is nothing wrong with seeking self determination, but why must the back ground of such a noble cause be founded on hate for other people who will still be our neighbors when biafra is actualized. this Nnamdi Kanu philosophy of biafra which many miscreants now follow has spoilt the image of igbos. the great igbo who is a harbringer of prosperity to any region, is now being painted as a hateful murderous individual who hates his neighbours. yet this is not so. biafra must be created on ideals, sustainable ideals and never sentiments because sentiments can never be sustained. there has been no internal referendum or plan charted amongst the biafran states on biafran before we seek a refendum from Nigeria. by the way who and who constitutes biafra. this is still debatable and yet many are clamouring for something like that which is still not yet well thought out.

The great Igbo man is the one who is wise enough to realize that Nigeria is a British colonial estate which they made Arewa the caretakers of, not one who is blinded by greed that he would want to enslave his unborn generation so that he can fill his pockets with wealth that the enemies can delete with just one Igbophobic policy.
The real Igbo man is one who stands for justice, who voted for OBJ, Yaradua, and stood with GEJ when the entire Nigeria were against him. He is the Igbo man who has realized that Nigerians would never stand with him to get his own justice but would all out of innate hate justify injustices directed at him.
He is the Igbo man that had rationally come to the conclusion that having his own nation, is the best deal for him.

5. IPOB never spoilt Igbo image, instead they gave Igbo a global voice. If Nigerians ever loved Igbos, then we wouldn't have had the pogroms of 1966 and many other massacres since then and the marginalization of Igboland would not have continued, there is no love lost between Ndiigbo and Nigerians, unlike unity beggars like you, IPOB decided to return every bit of hatred directed at Ndiigbo by Nigerians with more concentrated hatred, which to me is only natural, though I understand why Arewa aslickers amongst us would want us to continue swallowing the stench of hate directed at us from four corners of Nigeria without retaliation.

6. The Igbos have not attacked anyone or forcefully sack/claim ownership of properties of any tribe from the east,so any attempt to do so to the Igbos will be resisted.

The agitation has never been violent,so until then the Igbos will only vacate any part of Nigeria after an agreement to breakout peacefully has been reached.

They're Ohaneze Ndigbo. The only apex authority and respected voice now in Igbo land and beyond is IPOB and they will never advise any Igbo indigent to remain in the North, not before, not now. I agree with you by 100% that there's no unity in the contraption and expired entity, and most of our acclaimed elders knows this fact but are silent for political and personal frivolities.

If Igbos secede, the imports would account to only 20% of the total appliances since the talented SE are making some of their owns-the only car manufacturing plant is located in the heart of Anambra State, something Lagos can't boast of.
SE remains the best and I see no reason they'd not be earthly paradise if they leave! FG knows what they stand to lose if they secede! Use your brain, dumb ass!

Most SS indigenes don't live in the core North( NW & NE) in large numbers, they rather go to Lagos or Abuja. It is you Igbos that are in huge numbers in the core North.
