Hi.. I own a Nissan Altima 1998. It's been giving me lots of issues lately. Now the car misfires when I'm accelerating on park n as soon as I put the car on drive it goes off. I have changed the brain box, Airflow meter, fuel pump.. now the mechanic is saying I should change the injector mouth.. Please I need someone who can introduce to a Nissan specialist in Lagos who can help me

Why were you throwing parts at it?
Do you mind starting the story from the beginning? And explain it slowly.

Have you checked plugs, plug wires and distribution cap? I'll be super amazed if these preliminaries haven't been checked and you've replaced the parts you have mentioned.

I parked it for over a year cos I travelled n since I got back it started give issue like not accelerating well n tripping off when you engage gear to drive.

Follow this man's advice. Add injection nozzles tune up to it. Also keep all the parts you removed. I repeat keep them!

I'm sure rodents would have eaten some wires. 98 car can be scanned naa. Scan it at least. Sounds electrical. There is also a Nissan forum here

On a serious note, OP doesn't sound techy and aware of how his car functions. He may visit autologic to sort out his problem. But I know it isn't something serious. Op, endeavor to pick interest in your ride.

I'm having this same problem with my Nissan primera 2000. I have changed brian box, throttle mouth and airflow meter, same problem nothing changed.
