TRAGEDY AVERTED AS CONTAINER SPILLS CONTENT ON DANFO BUS AT OJUELEGBA – SEE PHOTOS

Commuters in a yellow commercial bus popularly known as danfo alongside other passerby were saved by the whiskers after a truck carrying a loaded container with flour spilled its content on the bus at Ojuelegba yesterday, June 6, 2017.
The incident occurred while the danfo and truck drivers attempted to climb the Dermalong bridge leading to Fadeyi end of Lagos.
A witness told Eyes Of Lagos the truck driver lost control before trying to maneuver to safety. In the process, he lost balance, spilling its content on the danfo bus driving in the next lane.
Luckily, no lives were lost in the incident but goods worth millions of naira were spilled on the highway.
The Emergency Response Team (ERT) of the Lagos State Emergency Agency, LASEMA, were called to the scene afterward to tow away the affected truck and also ease traffic flow due to the rush hour.
