But as far as Nigerians and the world well, for the past 30+ years now, IPOB or Massob have been saying that they will separate from Nigeria and create Biafra. After 30+ years of hearing the same nonsense without any results would you take them seriously.

I mean to create Biafra, the first step is to hold a referendum to show the U.N. and the world that Biafra is needed. But after 30+ years of shouting and screaming no referendum has even been held, simple basic step 1 has not even been achieved.

so eventually after 30+ years, people just tuned out the biafra movement and dont take it seriously. Britain held a referendum to get out of the E.U. and it only took a few months. Whats taking them so long to hold a basic referendum and squash this issue once and for all.

I can vouch for Igbos any day that they don't commit mindless ethnic attack.

i can't recall such happening in Aba and onitsha around that time but I can tell you a number of killings of Igbos that occurred within this period in the north.

During the time sharia was introduced, there were lots of killings and that was in 2000.

Within this period my friends and I secured a particular place where muslims pray. I made sure that no harm befell anybody.
