See these holier than thou Crittens talking about human rights violations and what not, was it not their own solider Chelsea Manning that exposed their attrocities against human rights in a 700 page document with video evidences to Wikileaks of US military carrying out airstrikes against unarmed civilians in various countries overseas. They can shove their planes up their asses and ride to hell with it. The more they delay with the sale of these aircrafts the upper hand bokoharam gets. And by the way what kind of dumb military officials do we have in this country for Christ's sake. Is it only US we can buy weapons from? Russia is there ever, able and willing to sell aircrafts to Nigeria at a cheaper rate sef instead of those world war 2 relic planes US wanted to sell to us at an exorbitant rate. |

vengertime:Only deranged and stupid people make such careless statements. I believe you are one of those brainless idiots who just have access to the internet. If you do not like buhari's policies or style of government you have two choices either channel your grievances through the apporiate channels or better still leave the country. It is that simple. |

xcolanto:I talk with certain level of confidence and certainty. Go figure! Feel free to quote me anywhere. I stand by my statement. Ever heard of any igwe, WIC or Ohaneze leadership having meeting with any caucus of the US senate? Don't even get me started on IWA or CISA charade. The Northern youth coalition issued a quit notice to people of SE in the North. Did you hear anything from World Igbo Congress? No. Because the two factions are busy fighting each other for authenticity while Igbo houses are about to be ignited. I have attended enough meetings and communicated with the so-called leaders to understand the limits of their influences. / |

Danishguy:utter rubbish ,totally rubbish. When the last administration focused it's policies on the eastern bloc, many I'll informed individuals blew trumpets. Now we can see the reason why, minus, arse licking Egypt,Morocco and Tunisia no other country in Africa has received extended lethal air assets from the US (and they have a lengthy HR rap sheet) , check the lists , all countries have always looked towards the east for it's acquisitions minus SA. We have been hounded right from 2010, insulted and embarrassed just take a look at this statement "Given that the Nigerian military still lacks the ability to mount a sophisticated counterinsurgency cooperation combining group and air assets, and the A-29 airframes will not be ready for delivery for at least another year at the earliest, we see no rush to complete the sale. Because this sale is an important point of leverage to encourage critical reforms necessary to defeat Boko Haram, we recommend that you require the Nigerian government to complete these steps before proceeding with the sale. Some of the important and specific benchmarks that would show progress include:" The most annoying is that all this is because of a turbo prop aircraft , this government has shown zero Foreign policy thrust besides voting against Palestine and galavanting around with the Islamic coalition and the saudis Militarily what have we gain recently, nothing . The old arrangement by the last admin is what the NA ,NAF especially are still functioning on. There is no way, I would discountenance all the atrocities of the NA especially in this admin the Shiites and IPOB but like the Roman adage says " I fight, i know not the reason why I do so", the buck rests at the table of this government (if they ever decide to get serious). We had discussions on the Su-25,27 and thunder jets with Russia,Belarus and Oak, Lack of foresight stopped them all(except the thunders). When are we ever going to learn foreign diplomacy like the isrealies, form a congress of Nigerians in different countries and push for our interest . No, no way Goddfrey Onyema is still praying for london. Damn |

komekn:you made lots of sense until your last paragraph. You need to re-educate your self on what High Threat Zone is. Goto the NE, you will find properly kitted soldiers for the threat available. For you info the AK is still extremely capable clean or not, optical or iron sight!. Our troopers are marksmen with them ( visit them at a range). As for IFV, we have BMP- 1 and the BVPs (though not sufficient enough) MRAPs and LAVs cover the rest. The NA aight the same before |
