I've been a Network Marketing Professional for 6 years and here's My take on Network Marketing - its a great sustainable model if you obey and follow the rules and are willing and able to work hard and Consistently. Swiss Golden is a Cycler , which is not bad if all the Members are ready to work HARD! But as the Op said,tables hardly get 100% filled, so the danger of being left hanging is real(I did Ultimate Cycler, its almost the exact same format)
- Tips on choosing an MLM Company - Any MLM that does not have a product is a Ponzi scheme.
- Any MLM that asks people to bring money, whether you are asked to refer people or not is a Ponzi scheme.
- If the only way to make money in an MLM is by referring people, think hard about joining, don't expect to be assisted.
- Can YOU do it, and more importantly, can the people you refer do it, ie refer theirs?
- If you are given products, what is your plan for selling them for a Profit?
- Is your plan to refer two and do no more?
- Plan to learn everything you can about the business, don't rely on anyone.
- Are you thinking of becoming a Leader in the biz and growing your own Team, this should be your end goal if you really want to succeed in any MLM
- For any MLM co to be sustainable there must be Multiple ways of making income within the opportunity, such as - Profit on product Sales
- one time Commissions from Referrals
- Monthly/Weekly Bonus - - Incentives like Cars -
- Travels and other Items,
- Personal Development/Business Training,
- Free Products or other competition prizes.
A reasonable earning structure from any of the first 3 mentioned should be obtainable.

That is my grouse with many network marketing groups. Over hyping and over pricing of simple products (in many cases ordinary supplements) and people spend tens even hundreds of thousands to buy them not because they need them but because they hope to invite people and make so much money when they build a team. At the end, only a few people (the early starters) make maximum gains.

From your earlier calculation, do you know that if you continue that matrix (and assuming it takes each new sign up a whole month to register 2 downlines), by the 36th month (ie 3 years), over 68 billion people will need to join in one month to sustain the matrix?
Network marketing is a big scam. I've joined 2 companies on the past, lost some money till my eyes opened to how unrealistic and how unsustainable it is.

Its not just about the business model, you also have to look at the earning pattern. Any business where the earnings from a network-based business model exceed the earnings from the actual business is not only unsustainable, it is a bubble waiting to burst.

Ultimate cycler last year almost gave me high bp because I had to promise people that I will get referrals for them, keep promising even the next referrals so that they will register just like Dy do here in Swiss golden.

I promised myself not to involve myself in any referrals thing again.

Even for that 1million, I won't register.

A whole lot of money is involved here, If ppl don't get their money bk, they will come for my head since its a big amount. I cannot kill myself before my time.

The business has been on for 7 years now, it has it representative offices all over the world. Has it legal unit in Ikoyi Lagos. Plans are ongoing to establish a representative office in Nigeria.
This is no ponzi scheme, it will continue to stand the test of time.

Why would you promise them downlines? Don't you see that's where the problems start, everyone has their own network and if they can't find at least 2 people in all their acquaintances to join them, then the business is NOT for them. Learn to pre-qualify your prospects, if you ever decide to run an mlm business again. Don't be desperate for downlines.
