I'll vote for Freda because she's now a changed woman, and also finish what she started. |

Dora completely ignored Shiv during dinner. She seethed silently as she forked her spaghetti barely eating much. She wondered where Shiv and Dike had went to. Whether they screwed or kissed, or if he had introduced her to friends. And the fact that he had refused letting her join them angered her the most. Dike hardly refused her anything but nowadays, it was just like a normal occurence. He hardly even talked to her nowadays which was never so not until Shiv came into the house. 'Dora, whats wrong?' The ever observant and motherly Adanna asked 'you've been picking your food. Isnt it delicious? I personally prepared it' 'its nice. I'm just not hungry' She replied pushing away her plate. 'that wierd. You didnt eat lunch' Edna chipped in. 'maybe if you just mind your business, you wont notice who had lunch or not' Dora snapped. 'hey cool down. Edna meant no harm' Shiv said. Dora sent her an angry glare 'Shiv, i want to see you later. We have something very important to discuss' Shivani creased her brows in confusion 'is there a problem?' 'where did you go with Dike?' She didnt know when she exploded and she quickly covered her mouth 'sorry, that came out wrongly. Where you went with Dike is certainly none of my business. I just wanted to...just know' She tried shrugging it away, especially when Chinny was looking at her with inquisitive eyes now. 'we just hung out at a local bar. Together with Martins' Shiv shrugged and Chinny shook her head. She never learns, Chinny thought. 'and you had fun i guess' In order not to be bored at the table, she picked her meat with a fork and threw into her mouth. 'uhm...not really. Girls kept hovering round our table and flirting with the two guys. It was so irritating. One even went ahead giving Dike a lap dance' Dora's eyes lit in amusement 'i suppose you stormed out of there in anger when he took the girl up to one of the rooms at the Bar. Giddys right?' 'yeah, how do you know?' Dora laughed nervously 'oh come of it. Do you know how many times Dike has taken me there? Its nothing special. He takes even the security there sometimes. Okay, i'm just exaggerating but his taking you there is nothing special' 'oh really?' Shivani glared at her. What was this feeling she was having? Why did she feel Chinny and Dike were right? There was something off 'bout Dora. 'you both are making this table boring' Chinny said 'can we talk about something other than someone taking someone out and another someone getting unnecessarily jealous and inquisitive?' 'and i hope by that you arent referring to me?' Dora eyed her angrily. 'i never mentioned anyone's name. But if you feel you're the one i'm referring to, then goodluch with that' Dora picked her fork from the table and pointed to Chinny angrily 'wo this girl! You're provoking me oo. You're trying to bring out the beast in me, you want someone to kill you abi? I've warned you before and i'm doing the exact same thing again, desist from involving yourself in my matter or anything related to me. Or anything you see, you collect. Since you dont want to respect yourself and appreciate the small respect i've been giving you as my senior mate!' 'abeg go siddon or dirty! Who be this one? Who dey look your face? Abi i beg you for respect? See eh, if you no wan turn this table to second World War II eh, just respect yourself make i no go change am for you because as e be so, me no get joy for where you dey so no just reason my mara this night if not, me and you go act better best-selling drama for you. No quata, you dey hear me so?' Dora clapped her hands 'all talk and no show. Abeg go screw yourself!' 'now thats enough both of you!' Adanna interjected 'no more bantering of words and lets eat dinner in peace. Chinny, if you knew you werent interested in their conversation in the first place then you should have just kept quiet. No one called you in the matter by the way. And you Dora, you should learn to accord Chinny some respect because no matter what she does, she still remains your senior! Stop being malicious when it comes to her and desist from threatening to beat her when you know its a wrong thing to do!' 'please!' Dora rolled her eyes. 'and dont roll your eyes at me again' Adanna warned. 'holy senior mate' Dora murmured to herself but Shiv who was beside her heard it. She closed her eyes and rubbed her throbbing temples. She wondered if her mum was in Germany yet. She hadnt called or texted. 'excuse me' She picked her phone and left the table. TBC |
