Aww! Sorry we r in same shoes whenever mine occurs I told my legs back up and try to hold the back then the strain goes away.And some times I feel it even hours after I have gotten up from bed, though my dr gave calcium wen I complained but guess it part of the package cos the thing didn't stop.

Despite my being a medical doctor, I cried myself silly and have been worried all night about possible complications of delivery at this stage including the possibility of a NICU stay for baby and my fear of CS as my first two were vaginal at 37+ May I advise at this point not to let too much Google mess up our heads.....I read up the good, bad and ugly and was scared silly . I was given steroid shots to aid baby's lungs and also commenced on prophylactic antibiotics and CS scheduled for 1300 hours today. To God be all the glory my people, following start of surgery, baby was our in roughly 3 minutes and yelled his lungs out. On examination by the receiving paediatrician, we were informed he had a fantastic Apgar score of 9, all was good and there was not the slightest indication for NICU stay for even a second....my people.....I was shedding tears on the surgery table of gratitude to God for His mercies indeed last forever

Baby is sleeping peacefully right now, I am still on an adrenaline high and wide awake....what more can I ask for an early 40th birthday present?

Sweetheart, of course you can cope. It's your home too. If he says you should carry everyone along, try and do so in some situations, not all. Like mommy B said pick your battles. Please most importantly rest!!! As in lie down, carry the thickest blanky you can find and cover your ears. When he sees you are serious, him go rearrange. I can't wish a miscarriage for a single lady not to talk of a married one. It's not something a human being should pass through seriously. The guilt you will feel alone can kill someone. Please rest!!! If there is no one to do the things you ordinarily should do, make that thing dey there. Please rest!!! There is no award for being a Jackie ok. It is well with you. Ensure you go to the hospital too. Find your way around it. This is your life dear, not anyone else's. You have the charge of your life, try and stand your ground on this ok.

my dear wen doc says bedrest it means u can't get out of ur bed except u want to go to d bathroom or eat, u have to be on ur bed 247 forget abt cooking or doing any house chore if ur husband is not been supportive Abeg go ur mama house for D main time miscarriage will not be ur portion in jesus name amen God forbid anything happen u will be affected most oooo. Oooh, thanks ma'am. I suspected same too. Last night, I took tea with plenty extra milk, and when I woke up this morning, the pain had reduced, much more than before. Thanks again ma.

Please, does skimmed milk contain as much calcium as full cream milk? I had actually reduced my intake of milk to avoid too much fat. Can I use skimmed milk instead or I should just continue with the full cream milk?

Take away all blocks and barriers that are hindering this blessing in my life.

Skimmed milk has more calcium than full cream but in total, full cream has more vitamins /nutrients.

How to stop your period early ko! how to stop it late ni! is it to stop the flow or to stop the cramps? as if hot water will absorb the blood from your uterus. or ibruprofen will suddenly reduce the days from 5 to 1.....

I just came back from Lab nau and my report reads:

Gravid uterus with a single intra uterine gestation sac is demonstrated, there is NO FETAL POLE or ACTIVITY WITHIN THE SAC YET.
GSD:20.0mm
EGA:6weeks 2days (instead of 7weeks 2days)

I was asked to repeat d scan in 2weeks but I'm worried sick about it. Pls mums, isn't there supposed to be a fetal pole by nau? Even heartbeat sef?
I hope dis doesn't indicate any problem?

Relax mama it is well, take it all to God in prayers. Worrying won't help. Yes I've heard and seen some cases where no foetal pole seen and no heartbeat heard till about 9 weeks. What type of scan was done? Transvaginal or abdominal? Keep your faith up and believe God to do that which only Him can do. It will end in praise.hugs.

Scan usually have different date from your EDD(LMP). The sonographer said 'YET' that means it can still come up. Wait still 2weeks and repeat scan. Or if you really worried go to another scan lab and do it. It's best if you wait till 8/9weeks to repeat.

Hello mama. I don't think u need to panic. I googled fetal pole and this is the first thing that came up
'The fetal pole is a thickening on the margin of the yolk sac of a fetus during pregnancy. It is usually identified at 8 weeks with abdominal ultrasound imaging, and 6 weeks with vaginal ultrasound imaging. However it is quite normal for the fetal pole to not be visible until about 9 weeks'.
So if it is abdominal ultrasound U did they won't find the pole until u re 9 weeks gone. That's y they asked u to come back after 2 weeks
