Cross River state at 20,156 km2 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_River_State is approximately half the size of Igboland at 40,000 km2 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Igboland

You guys make a lot of noise for such a small set.

Essentially, Igboland could easily have been made up of just 2 states. Here you are making noise about having 6 states. When will you guys learn?
Part of cross river should be carved into SE for another state. I am done with you. Peace.

It is safe to say that with thinking like yours, Biafra will remain a hoax. However, this hoax could cost millions of lives, that is why people like me are countering the ineffectual thinkers promoting it.

What is the topic? What is your response? Which group are afraid of a repeat of history that is very bad? Any sensible person knows that any major upheaval in Nigeria affects everybody.

The truth is attempted secession means pain for Igbos and history shows you lack the capacity to grow past it. Rwandans have moved on from an event that happened 24 years after the end of the Biafran war and you are still whining all over the place.

#Yeye and empty pride.
I'm sorry for your lot. What's wrong in ending a union?, I find it hard to understand your interest in your enemy.

As for Nigeria, she's broke, retrogressed over the years in every sphere. Nigeria cannot fund war in recession, fighting Book Haram in the North and fighting East and South South.

I will advise you channel your advise to West, you're my enemy.

When did anybody enter a union with the Southeast? It was an amalgamation enforced by the British. The problem is not this amalgamation but the attempt by a minority to blackmail the majority because of it. If it were a patriotic effort to bring the best for Nigeria that leads to some devolution or decentralization of power, there would be little problems but where one group seeks to eat its cake and have it, we have issues.

Now, that you understand that all parts of Nigeria have issues, spare us whining.

Is it the hate speech and mischief-makng of the Southeast that will guarantee peace? Only the living and safe bother about municipal water.

Ask your relatives that passed through the Biafra war if they bothered about Municipal water when they were eating lizards, worms and God knows who else. When we say you lack sophistication, you just keep proving it.

Address my points or go play in traffic. You cannot look out your window and claim sophistication. If you are going to claim you are superior to Igbo people, then you should not be inhabiting what is the 3rd world.

Having your elite jostle for the country's wealth and power while the average person in the North and SW don't know where their next meal is coming from is not what anyone calls sophistication.

What is so sophisticated about any part of Nigeria. Is it roads? Ha, no. Low levels of unemployment? Guess again.

You are so a.s.s backwards that right now you are probably spent in your last 100 dollars to power the generator that allowed you to type your ignorant message, but because "your people" are in charge you are happy.

Other countries that have less resources can manage providing electricity 24/7 but they are not a sophisticated as you. They are so stupid, everyone know sophistication comes first before hospitals.

It's:
1. Sophistication
2. huh
3. Developed country?

Japanese people are so stupid lol.

Can you tell us, what exactly were you guys doing with your sophistication while people eating lizards and worms in the East? It was a perfect opportunity to do lots of thing but for some reason you guys decided to leave the place looking like complete crap? Was that by choice?

You're obviously way smarter & more intelligent than the op. Each these suicidal people trying to islamize everyone by force, threaten war on the SE/SS, I just SMH out of pity to their ignorance and suicidal tendencies. If Nigeria makes the mistake of going to war rather than to dialogue & restructure the country, it will be their greatest undoing. Any war now involving SE/SS is apparently going to be guerilla since there is central government for SE/SS unlike 1967, so tanks/APC carriers may not be effective & it will become a gun battle without fronts, now a broke Nigeria with obsolete arms......

A simple look at history has shown that Igbos have largely contributed negatively to the political development of Nigeria. From leading the first coup that destroyed the first republic to insisting on instigating the Biafra war when a clear and detailed negotiation could have addressed many of the issues.

A nation develops by making proper decisions at critical junctures.

I can also refer to the mindless egging-on of GEJ's kleptomanic government.

Without a shadow of a doubt, in 3rd world Nigeria, the Igbos are the most problematic lot. So, you can name whatever country you want but it will not change this fact.

In a country that cannot provide municipal water according to you. Is it the current noise coming out from the Southeast that we need?

If you want to discuss the impact of political history on Nigeria's development, create a thread and tag me. At the moment you are your 'municipal water' are derailers. #Yeye

I laugh at you. Forget about d lies u guys keep regurgitating on nairaland, Igboland supercedes SE, 70% & 40% of Rivers & Delta states respectively are Igbos. The moment the a.bo.kis decide to put their threat to action & harm the Amaechis, Ifeanyis etc & even our brothers in other tribes in SS. Then they will all clap for you abi? SE/SS are so co-joined ethnically & geographically that it will be impossible to fight one now without involving the other in a fight that has ethnic coloration. The moment it starts, Nigeria will be so broke to even finance such war because there will be no oil exports or blockade of the East, so kwashiokor is likely to ravage others this time more than Igbos because we have capable diaspora that will send aid support more than others.

But since the majority insist that they don't want restructuring nko, what do you want the minority to do?

Nigeria as presently constituted is not working. We don't even have money to implement this year's budget and our debt keeps rising to unsustainable heights. We're now servicing debts with 66% of our income and we'll still borrow again to finance this new budget.

For the record I stand with Nnia Nwodo led Ohaneze Ndigbo on restructuring.I believe this is the best Ohaneze leadership we've had since I became an adult. However if the majority insist on a system that hasn't worked since 1970's, then by all means please let's divide.

Okay there was a coup. Why didn't the sophisticated fellows of Nigeria rally around and move past that? Igbo people are so powerful they managed to keep the rest of Nigeria firmly in 3rd world stays for 50+ years? Igbo people get power o.

You would think with the other two sophisticated ethnic groups on the case they would have made their respective regions heaven on earth!?

They didnt? SAD.

There was a negotiation it was trashed and the country was then plunged into war for 3 years. And since then there have been calls for restructuring and those various conferences where old men are paid to go take naps under the guise of "restructuring". So there has been plenty of negotiating? Where were you? Being sophisticated so much you forgot...I guess?

So why haven't the sophisticated people made critical decisions at those critical junctions in history?

Like the mindless egging on under Yardua where you guys literally had a corpse for commander in chief?

Or the mindless egging on that allowed OBJ to squander all they goodwill he had to literally make no sustainable impact on Nigeria other than padding his bank account?

On and on and on...

If they are so problematic, why are the two sophisticated regions just as crappy as the rest of Nigeria. You are transferring a lot of power to Igbo people, so much so they have the ability to negate your sophistication.

Which is clearly why super mega city Lagos still thinks open gutters constitute the highest level of sophistication.

Igbo people are the sole reason why Northern Nigeria has an infant/maternal mortality rate on par with Afghanistan (a country in the midst of a decades long insurgency/war).

Clean running water is a pretty basic part of infrastructure and yet the two sophisticated regions can't manage that!? It's the current noise that you should be squawking out of your sophisticated mouth to your sophisticated leaders in your sophisticated region.

But yet you consider political back bitting and cronyism that benefits the .001% of Nigerians as a sign of political savvy and skill. Which is why you brag that your leaders have the choicest positions while driving your car down a potholed road to your house that hasn't seen consistent power in 3 years. But you winning tho!

Will probably die in a hospital because lack of drugs and equipment, but my kinsman has been President 3 times!!!! Winning!!!! Sophistication b1tches!!!

Of course its yeye to you because you are simple man with simple thoughts. Sophistication for you is power, the end.

I don't have time to tag simpletons, go create your own thread to circle jerk and blow yourself over your sophistication.
