I know they offer info tech. I don't know about geographical information science. I will confirm on Monday. Tuition is 100k per semester. But as a fresh student you would pay extra 130k as foreigner's fee. After the first semester you won't pay the 130k again.
Note: its 3 semesters per session
Thanks Brother for the response. I do appreciate. You can also help check if they don't have GIS. Climatology or Climate change and Energy conservation. God bless sir

Hi guys, I'm confused with addresses, is there really a Philippines Embassy in Lagos, can one apply there or is it all the way to Abuja?

Following up on my previous post...

Hey guys.... I want to share my experience during my visa application, hopefully this adds value to whoever is planning to apply especially if you aren't living in Abuja...

VISA APPLICATION

Before visiting, I searched online for the current application form with no luck, so I assumed that I'll be provided with one at the embassy, getting there to find out that it's a new story entirely. Some lady at Lake Cresent even printed an old version of it which I paid for (It won't work), you can only get it at the embassy before you can apply.

You have to request for it via email, though they did reply with the attached form the same day about an hour later and due to their limited hours for submission I couldn't apply that day, making a 13 hour trip to Abuja to be told that is beyond absurd..

Request for your application form through this email address beforehand - pe.abuja.consular@gmail.com find the attached file of the paper I was given, it has more info on how to apply for the form.

PLEASE NOTE: This might change at any time but this was what I was given at the time...

PHILIPPINES EMBASSY LOCATION

Don't let google fool you or should I say the people that didn't update their information.

When you run a search for Philippines Embassy's address, you'll get up to four locations.

Lake Crescent Abj
Gwarinpa Abj
Wuse 2 Abj
Even one in Lagos

GWARINPA is the only place where they are, everywhere else listed will only set you up for a wild goose chase, full address is in the attached file

I went everywhere except Lagos, luckily I was told beforehand while making inquiries that they aren't there.

APPLICATION TIME

9am - 11am - 11:30am (if you're really lucky with the guards)

VISA FEE

Tourist visa - N15,500
Student visa - Approximately N70k (it was 60 something K at the time I was there)

- They only accept cash.

COLLECTION TIME

Visas are ready for collection after 2days (this may vary depending on individual cases).
Collection is at 2pm so be there before time and be ready to wait outside for a while because the guards didn't seem to know what they were doing when I went to collect.

DRESS CODE

Some things are common sense but common sense isn't common these days.. I saw some guys wearing slip ons/slippers to the Embassy, I mean come the f*** on.

If you go with your slippers/slip ons you'll be denied entry into the premises, this doesn't necessarily mean you should wear a suit and tie, just be presentable.

My 2cents for Applicants based on what I experienced..

- For student visa applicants - Get a sponsor’s letter + bank statement ready even if your sponsor is your immediate relative in addition to your bank statement (if you’re going with yours)

- In case your name, initials, or any other credentials have been messed up by the incompetent lots working at Government institutions of our fallen country, it's important to get your affidavits, judges seals/apostles in order beforehand.

- Be confident and speak like you don’t really need their visa but don’t be arrogant about it.. (works every time with anyone)

If you guys have questions I’ll be happy to help (if I can).

My blog on traveling is coming soon, it’s going to be focusing on helping minorities travel more on our own terms….

Gentlemen, I am sorry to say Philipine embassy procedure look.like magic yes i was rejected on the 18th of this month how... I have got my admission to study Eginnering course 4 year degree program dully authenticated from Philippine. I submitted the following 1 Medical report
2, nationtional population birth certificate.
3 Police clearance.
4 Affidafit of sponsorship from federal high court.
5, Affidavit of parental consent from fed high court.
6 Bank statement.
7 Interary ticket open for 6 month
8 WAEC result.
9, Addmission letter and other.documents from Philippines. about 4 in numbers
All document dully authenticated by the Foreign affair ministry in Abuja and also authenticate my WAEC result from ministry of education.. i proceed to.the embassy arming myself with all the requirment. Getting there the consular vetted the document one by one.. vetted my.passport page by page.. collected all the said document but only return my original WAEC certificate and ask me to pay 69,750 naira... and gave me receipt to come back a week after.... A week After i return to the embassy.. out of 9 of us available for visa pick up.. 5 Applicant was granted and 4 was not granted.. only gave back our passport without the rest of the documents..
it really baffles me because all.my document was processed by.me not even by agent and the consular vet it one by one like he did to others... but.if they.knew they are not goin to grant visa to some.people.. it is better they dont take our visa fee and our documents... imagine they vetted it and after we paid the visa charges I was denied with others.. sure embassy reserve the right to grant or regect but at least they should have refund the visa fee or return the documents an applicant as submitted..imagine the rigorious work to get all the said documens, the frequent trip to Abuja.in other to authenticate at various ministry.. then at the end if ur visa is rejected all the said documents are also consficated. i spent close to 500k in.processing the student admission, doing medical test, authenticating the documents.. it is really unfair how geniune applicant was treated.. to be honest i saw people who could not write their name if the visitor book, stack illiterate with degree admission granted visa... The Embassy do grant Visa as the spirit direct.. this is wat i figure out....

good p.m bros, how are u? I went to the travel agent's place today, we have discussed. When I am done with my authentication I will go and meet them for the reservation. But pls when u scanned ur own documents to them, how long did it take them to call u pls and in ur reservation, did u do for a round trip or one way reservation ?pls
when you scan your documents to them.. less than 5 min you will recieve a form to fill... but the chances of visa is 50/50...
