Why An Igbo Man May Never Rule Nigeria(facts) by Sydney17(op): 9:12am On Jun 14, 2017
Igbos are very Industrious and Illustrious group of people no doubt,an igbo man sense of business and hustling spirit is highly commendable,an average Igbo man know how to take advantage of any business situation and can survive in the harshest environment. However, the same can not be said of an igbo man political sense,an average igbo man refuse to understand the politics and politicking of nigeria! Politic is simply the game of numbers where the the party or fellow with the highest votes emerged as the winner! The northern part of nigeria in this case has the numerical advantage thereby making them a natural force to reckon with if you wanna rule Nigeria, yet an Igbo man don't want anything to do with the Northerner and wanna Rule Nigeria! an igbo claim the northerners are parasites and that they killed too many Igbos! Meanwhile the real truth is an igbo man start the killing! The 1966 coup in nigeria that ousted the then president Dr Nnamdi Azikwe was masterminded by group of young soldiers predominantly from igbo extraction, they include;Maj kaduna Nzeogwu,Maj Emmanuel ifeajuna,Maj timothy Onwuategwu,Capt Emmanuel Nwobosi,Maj Chris Anuforo,Maj Humphrey Chukwuka,Maj Don Okafor,Capt Ogbo Orji,Capt Ben Gbulie! all these men plus a handful of yoruba soldiers according to wikipedia carry out the first coup nigeria, and the casualties are majorly from Northern extraction. The casualties include;Sir Ahmadu Bello(premier), Sir Abubakar Balewa(Prime minister),Samuel Akintola(premier), Festus okotie eboh(finance minister), ahmed Bin Musa,Hafsatu Bello,Zarumi Srduana,Ahmed Patigi and lots of prominenet people from other tribe, yet an Igbo man will cry of being the victim. An igbo man dont wanna do politics with a yoruba man because he felt he'S A Betrayal, and because the yoruba are closer to the northerner, yet he wanna rule Nigeria! An igbo man felt Delta are not real igbo afterall but today he wanna be closer to them because of the oil in the Niger Delta region! An igbo man will hate his own very best just because they are friends with other tribes,a good example is Rochas and lately father Mbaka and Ralph uwazurike! and yet he want to rule Nigeria,An igbo man will condemn his host community where he makes money and claim he is helping the community to develop their land! An igbo man will be the first to condemn inter ethnicity marriage that involves an easterner and any other tribe and yet he wanna rule the country.I expect backlash as usual from my igbo brothers but indeed i speak the truth! it is time for sober reflection and change of status quo! Nation are combination of Nations, together we can be great again,we are better together only if we are more tolerant and patient! No one is a UNITY Begger, the truth is we all cannot do without each other! whether you are Chukwudi Or Rotimi or Musa, together we can make this giant of africa rise again! God bless Nigeria!!

It will be easier for Arsenal FC to win the English Premier League than for Nigeria to have an Igbo president.

How did GOODLUCK JONATHAN get voted in if indeed it is all about the number games?
Yes, the number is also major factor; but if an igbo man with the right and proper mandate & bright ideas vies for presidency I'm positive he would be voted in.

Igbo are very emotional in their action and talking. They lack in-dept analysis like this one.

The north had Buhari as a contestant.
They'd have chosen person over party.

People like you should wake up from sleep. You have been looking for a great Nigeria since 1914 to date, you havent found it. Even a fool will get to a point where he will admit that something that has not worked in 103 years can never work.

Who told you that Chukwudi, Rotimi or Musa cannot do without each other? They did without each other for hundreds of years before Lugard came to force them all together. It is now you think that they cannot survive without each other?

Look, people you should stop these useless threads where you talk about Igbo and president of Nigeria. The presidency of Nigeria has not helped those who held it in the past, it will not help Igbos.

What matters is how Igbos can get out of Nigeria, get their own country and start controlling their own destiny.
