Op! 50yrs ago we fought a war! Lost 3million brothers. Our ancestral homes ploughed with bombs, our farms destroyed, Our properties outside the biafra siezed and those in biafra destroyed, All our assests both in cash and kind was reduced to £20 We started from the scratch! 50 yrs later and there isn't any tribe in Nigeria that has more millionaires than Igbo tribe!, {I stand to be corrected} against all odds {no president, no vice-president, no federal presence!} So don't worry about our economic viability. Worry about those who have the land, the manpower, the government support, the foriegn support and yet they have the highest rate of poverty in the country! BIAFRA WOULD BE FINE ![]() Adios

What will be the role of Israel and world Jewry in a new Republic of Biafra? The answer has a lot to do with the potentials of Biafra. |

Nnemuka:It's called wisdom, sensitivity, tact, respect. Even in Dubai with its cosmopolitan atmosphere you don't wear your bumshorts around. People have culture which whenever you come into such place you have to just respect it for peace to reign. Recently, the Ipob declared sit at home to commemorate those who died in the Biafran war. What that means is that even if I am not igbo if I was there I'd respect that order out of respect for the dead and the pain and suffering of those mourning their loss. While I could easily say 'well I am not igbo, wetin concern me. I will go around and do my business jare after all the constitution guarantees freedom of movement' I will not be wise to take such a stance. I will be insensitive and foolish. Please let us always try and look at things not only from our own perspective, our own history and experience which is often too narrow and excludes the other persons'. We are in this mess today because we have failed, even refused to understand each other. More than anything the human heart craves for understanding. As a human being I might not always agree with you but I can at least try and understand you-Why are you saying what you are saying, what is the cause, what is behind this or that? This are questions I can ask in a bid to understand you. And my understanding of your position can be the beginning of a great working and fruitful relationship. But if I shut you down and say go sit down jare. You will be hurt and that is what we do to ourselves in this country. And everyone is in pain now. Cheers |

EzeeYFB:Why do you think Netanyahu participated in ECOWAS meeting? Was he interested in Judaising West Africans? No! He came for economic interests. Israel will be interested in Biafra for economic reasons and not for Jewish brotherhood or Jewish religion. Israel knows that Biafra will be interested in their participation. |

sarahade:Many in this forum keep making this same statement and it's getting Stale. Whether you like it or not, some of the people in South South, especially Igbos there will join their brothers. Staying back in Nigeria or South South will turn them to minority. Who wants to be in that position, if they have a chance of being the majority? Stop wasting your time repeating the same thing over and over again. |

Mujtahida:What's the point being one? FYI, Dubai is another country. If I go to Dubai, I respect the laws of their land. In Nigeria, according to the constitution, I'm free to eat, work and live wherever I want to. If that right is threatened, then there's no reason for one Nigeria. This is one of the reasons we're fighting for secession. If we're Biafrans, and some of us choose to live in the north, they will respect the laws or culture in full, since they're no longer citizens. |

sarahade:Words of consolation. You don't wanna be left alone with the northerners. Lol And without the igbos in South South, Niger delta Republic(even with their oil) will end up like South Sudan. Lol Itsekiris, Urhobos and some Yorubas pretending to be South South, are the only people running around, complaining about a Biafra map. |

steppins:Why is it so difficult for people to understand things. So in other words when you have Biafra you will respect their culture there because you are foreigners and they are foreigners to you? As in while you cannot respect (according to you because of the constitution) the culture in the North as Igbo Nigerians, you will respect it as Biafrans in the North of Nigeria when Biafra becomes a reality? Constitution? Don't you have commonsense? This is your logic: Nigerians should not respect the culture of other Nigerians because we are all Nigerians but foreigners should respect the culture of all Nigerians because they are foreigners. I am shaking my head. No wonder we are in this mess. Please how old are you-no vex-cos I like to interact with matured minds. I am shocked at your logic. |

EmeeNaka:You nailed it bro. Every other tribe is envious of the Igbo because of what they can achieve when the indigenes have been there all along. You made an example of Ugwoba, so many of such settlements are scattered all over Igbo land. No attempt to build a descent accommodation even with the billions they make there. It's only Igbo people that go to these places and transform the place. Go out and check most Ama Awusa in Igbo land. It's like a mini refugee camp and all sorts of crime goes on there and it's a no go area for policemen-case in point Ama Awusa Owerri. As far as am concerned, it's only the Igbo that have shown national integration. You see Igbo people learning the language of its host community, Hausa people are trying on this, but Yoruba men will not dare. Wearing their clothes and attires but other major tribes will not touch an Igbo attire with a long rope except of course during political campaigns. I personally wanted to make babariga but someone pointed it out to me and i stopped- and generally integrating. I stay in PH and deal on building materials, in my 10 years in the business, it's only once i saw a Hausa man coming to buy goods and i hear they're in charge of Customs, NNPC and some other oil industry. Why are those big Hausa men in Port-Harcourt not building. What are we saying. Igbo believe in one Nigeria and have shown it in their actions and deeds. Just wish other tribes will be less envious. |

steppins:we won't stop saying it. The Igbos that don't want to be in niger delta can leave. It's a multi ethnic republic so all are welcome. Funny you're afraid of your Igbos brothers being minorities in niger delta republic but what us to be minorities in biafra |
