Who is talking about war?
You know them. Who is interested in getting power at Nigeria's centre? The politicians. An Ijaw man was Nigerian president for close to six years, yet his region is still at the mercy of the 'born to rule'. IPOB is talking referendum and freedom. Not war and not the presidency. Threats of war, propaganda and blackmail will not work. Thanks.

This is 2017 and not 1776. I know quite well that the igbos are marginalised in this country today, infact I dont like this country called Nigeria one bit. But there is a saying that goes "Apoliticism is self defeatism", what am I trying to say? This ipob members will gather and insult everybody who does not share the same fanatical ideology with them. They will curse their brothers and sister and even their parents. I never knew for one day that igbos insult people this way but recently I have been seeing very unpleasant printed words from us. Even if the south south ethnic groups doesnt follow us, then, you will need to have them as friends because having them as enemies will be one of the worst decision ever made by ipob.

This was expected, later when we say ipob has no respect for elders. Their nairaland kids will start barking

I was a staunch supporter of this movement but recently I have seen some dubious moves from these ipob members. If you go to the page, all you see are heaps of insults on anything that doesn't sound fanatical and crazy. Many of these guys are always ready to curse your family because of your own idea.

The country was fairly stable before these guys came to be, at least the only noise emanating from this country was from the northeast and south south.

Now they have created discomfort on Igbo's in the north. Everyone is wary of the northerners close to him. Making so much noise and cursing people will not bring Biafra but create enemity with our neighbors.

I was having a conversation with an educated northerner on Monday, he said without mincing words that the igbos just buried their political power by showing others that if given power at the center, they are going to break the fragile wall in the country. He further went on to say, "No more trust from your tribe".

IPOB do not have guns, all fighter jets are in Kaduna, naval base is not in the east. if you start a war, you all will be slaughtered because even if our brothers will aids, it will be blocked again.

You don't need to burn the whole house because you are leaving.

Those you elected to speak for you, really ? Mention just one occasion on which "they" that you elected to speak for you spoke in your interest or ever demanded something from the government in your interest. i am not demanding much from you. Just mention one, one only.

What of Senator Abaribe who demanded for the Eastern corridor rail line. Didn't he speak for your interest? You guys need to cool down and be strategic. Don't allow emotions to cloud your judgement.

God bless you my friend, I used to think that NK is one reasonable fellow b4 but one day I just decided to do an indepth research into the whole issue. I watched some videos on YouTube n also read some stuffs from trusted newspaper then I realized the guy is a big fool. how on earth do u secede by insulting every other tribe, calling them names n also publicly declaring that you need weapons. for what? n no time now they will say they don't want war, u don't want war, but what do u need weapons for?

Good but ain't you feeling somehow pointing out that issue that just happened this year while it is 18 yrs already since 1999. More over, it is safe to say IPOB activities are awakening them from slumber.


I can see that you are not Igbo, so i will like you to sincerely answer me.
What is wrong in us discussing how best we feel we can live together in unity for peace,progress and development ? What is wrong in each and everyone of us coming to say our minds on how best we can thrive together, that is, each ethnic group making their demands, being heard then compromising where necessary just so we can have a united Nigeria.


Why is it that people who want one Nigeria are not ready to adhust and compromise for the sake of unity rather they want one Nigeria on a self centered terms ?

I do not support anyone insulting anybody because he doesn't agree with one or is seen as a saboteur. Most of the IPOB members are young people. Sometimes, they go overboard in their zeal. It is not proper. But sometimes they do so in retaliation which I don't support either. That said, the time has come for people to take their destiny into their hands. You told you that the south south groups are not with IPOB? Is that part of your subtle propaganda? Everybody may not support Biafra even in Igboland. But the majority share same sentiments. Divide and rule tactics will not work against Biafra actualization. Thanks.
