This is the current deplorable state of the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River State. Meanwhile, the Orientation exercise was moved temporarily to Cross River State College of Education (COE), Akampka to give way for the renovation and rehabilitation of the Permanent camp.


However, the Cross River State Commissioner forYouth and Sports Development and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Board Chairman of Cross River State, Hon Asu Okang said the move is only temporary as the state government has nointention to move the camp from Obubra LGA.


Comr Okang made this known through a media chat held on Wednesdayin Calabar with the Leadership of Obubra Local Government Area.

No lies in what he said the camp is really bad....from the bunks to the toilet n bathroom very unkempt.... everything is bad...I camped there during batch b stream 2 orientation course

I was in Obubra camp 3 years ago.

the only news I want to hear about NYSC now is the date when stream 11 we be entering camp. Am tried of staying in the house since I quit my job hoping I will follow stream 1 enter camp

Nah, I am a reserved person and largely kept to myself during my stay. I cannot say the same for some other people though, I get where your notion might be coming from.
