One question though, does a phone have to be atleast on a particular rom version b4 it can be updated to a newer one?

For China Small post na ur luck matter ooo! Some people here have gotten their package in record time like 9 days. While mine was 1 month+1 week and to add salt to injury, there is no way to know where exactly the package is. You just have to be extra patient.
My advice to potential buyers on Aliexpress, if the option for China Air mail Registered or Aliexpress Standard shipping or any trackable shipping method for that matter, is available and it is within your budget i.e doesn't necessarily stretch your budget, kindly choose it oo! And save yourself unnecessary stress and delay.

NOTE: I did not mention DHL or EMS ooo! If those crook for airport cease your package my hand no dey ooo!

Is it the content or the notification on lockscreen you want disabled? You can't disable just the content.
