Guys, I've thought about this over and over, what's more important to you? To be liked or respected

Back when we were growing up, most of the rich people were respected when they came out in social gatherings and were usually praised, but people still talked Ill behind their backs not to talk about in firms, most managers are strict. They'll always make the decisions even if it makes them less loved by the employees


What would you prefer??

True respect is earned and not imposed,otherwise it becomes fear and begets hatred,in that case you will be respected but not liked.
If people truly like you(not fawning),they would respect you.
If people truly respect you(not fear or official respect),they would most certainly like you.
Remember that the concepts of likeness and respect can be real or feigned,in both cases there evoke the same patterns that may not easily be differentiated.

When will people not talk about you before. Whether you rich or poor, people must gossip.
