Good evening dear people. I just want to encourage everyone of us hoping for good IELTS score that there is hope. Don't give up. I took IELTS Feb 11th and my score was LSRW 8.5,7.5,7,6. The writing made me drop 100 points. I rewrote the exam again and had LSRW 8.5,7.5,7,7 which I used to get ITA. However I had applied for remark cos I didn't have peace about the writing. My New result came out today and my writing was bumped up to 7.5 from 6. please don't fear requesting for remark. I realized a long time ago that if something never hard, naija no de like am.

Hello everyone.
I've been following the thread since I started my Express entry application, I got ITA in the last draw and I've been trying to package my application but I've met a few stumbling blocks which I hope gurus here will be able to help with.
1. My son's name was misspelt on the medical form but when we discovered the error and contacted the panel physician, we were told the results have been sent already and can no longer be altered. I'm thinking swearing an affidavit to state that it was an error since the passport number is the same will help or what do you guys advise?
2. We've taken a number of passport photos and they still didn't meet the photo requirements, how have you guys been going about meeting the right specifications for the photos? Any one with a good photographer that can take the required photo can PM his/her contact.

Hello everyone and happy Sunday. Please I would like to know if the legal change of name for ladies should come after the date on marriage certificate or it can be before the date on the marriage cert. My newspaper publication for change of name reads September while my marriage cert reads October. I 'll like to know if that 'll be a problem or it should come after the date on the marriage certificate. Thanks in anticipation

I think getting married while awaiting PPR makes more sense. It is better you get it all done with before you leave.
Leaving without getting married means you will come back to get married and then apply to sponsor your spouse when you get back to Canada and wait for a year processing time or explore the route of spouse open work permit.

Marriage registry needs minimum of 21days to register prior to a wedding date. But I hear there are ways to bring the file forward and makes it less (naija for you), you didn't hear that from me

Abeg for those of u that submitted marriage cert, how did u upload it. Did u photocopy then shrink to A4 size as d paper is very long or did u upload long like that.

If one uploads photocopy of marriage cert is it a problem?

I got into the pool(EE profile) however my WES result wasn't out yet, I actually thought it will come out before I get an ITA but from all indication, this does not seen plausible. Please what do I do if I am invited to apply? anyone had similar experience? I was desperate and didn't think it will matter until i started speaking to people. My score now is 421. What do I do? experts in the house please i need your advice.

Please I need help. I started my fswp application in 2014 and they have only now resumed porocessing. I have gotten married and i have sent them additional documents to add my wife to my application.

they have responded and said i should pay the recommended fees for my wife. I'm not sure which fees to pay. Can someone please advise me?

Looks like 2014 is the new 2017, congrats to you all.

By recommened fees they mean processing fees and right of Permanent Residence fees - $550 + $490 = $1,040
