I have already sent the second documents to uniassist in berlin, Germany on last week via nipost too. Pls I want to ask when am I going to pay for uniassist fee. Is it when they have receive my documents or after they receive my documents then I can pay niii or not. Need your reply thanks.

thanks for your reply here. Well am still waiting for the school reply. By this week friday, it will clock 15 days that I sent the documents to the school. By 30th of june it will also clock 15 days too that I sent the documents to uniassist address.

My application was rejected at the embassy today and I as advised to apply for long term student visa instead of Schegen visa even though I will be staying in Germany for one semester. I was given an appointment on the 12th of July because I'm on scholarship else it would have taken longer.

Does anyone have/had this problem:

My sister sent her Bsc Cert to uni-assist, uni-assist rejected it that they need the transcript, now the problem is, her university mos definitely doesn't give student copy. They want to send the original straight to the school. Now here is the problem, uni-assist stated that they want "certified copy" for all docs and no original.

The university will send original to uni-assist, which is not a certified copy. We could aswell find a way to get the transcript if we want to, but the second problem is, the school always write "receiver's name and address" on the transcript, so i feel it won't make sense when a transcript is addressed to uni-assist and uni-assist see that it's a photocopy but as been certified. SAD but i don't know if people will understand my write up, but anyways below are the questions needing clarification.

Question:
- Should the university go ahead to send the transcript to uni-assist straight (which is original and not certified)
- Should we find a way to get the transcript (we can work around collecting it), photocopy and have it certified before it's been sent (uni-assist address is already on the first page of the transcript)

Please any honest advice will go a long way...

It's quite unfortunate I'm seeing this way too late. You can actually send an official transcript to Uni-assist, I did it in 2016 and I got admission. Besides, I uploaded my student copy while applying and it did not raise any flag whatsoever.

The only problem with this approach is that you won't see the transcript talkless of having a copy. If uni-assist.de receives a sealed official copy directly from your school, your guess is as good as mine, there won't be need to upload a certified copy anymore.

I hope this helps anyone in this state.

Yes they do! I'm talking from experience. I uploaded an uncertified student copy of my transcript and sent Official copy to Uni-assist in 2016.

No flag raised, I got admission.

Yes, in my own case i had to send the vpd again with other documents to the admission committee, it was compulsory , so make sure you cross check the requirements and the procedure and send the vpd along before the deadline.. If you have doubts then you can as well mail the course coordinator of the program your applying for or the admission committee, they do always reply mails too.. I wish you the best of lucks bro

Please how easy was it for you to use the account when you got to Germany. How accessible are they? Are they in Hessen? Whats their modus operandi? Unlike Deutsche that is international. Abeg no vex for me na question I just dey ask to avoid hassles cos I no sabi how their banking system operates over there.
