Its become stiffy in feel and makes some noises when i turn steering
Apparently i passed through water and the P/s light came on
and constantly did so intermittently, i practically had to force turn the steering when starting for the P/s to go off

What is wrong with yours? Yours uses an EPS (electronic power steering)

One of the rare instances when engines are crated/freighted into the country to be installed?

Any differences between engines crated from overseas to be installed here and those engines purchased at local spare part markets?

am currently having difficulties uploading pix. I can confidently tell you there are huge differences

1) engine harness came instsalled . so all we need do is remove old harness from the car and install engine. Make one or two connections and engine is ready to work. The harness wasn't butchered like what it use to be in the local market

2) engine came out from a ride with 90,000km

3) all harness complete down to the gearbox

4) car user bought engine and bought complete engine harness wink

I will upload pix am currently using my scan tool to update the information

unboxing of the crate. am pleased with the crating. engine was well secured in the crate and held down by a metal sheet in order to prevent engine from dancing around. I also got a free to KS tyre which hasn't expired on which engine was placed

inspection and comparison of old engine harness and new engine harness. this is to make sure we have same engine harness as what originally came with the car prior to final installation. with engine harness coming with new engine we didn't need to worry much about electrical connection because all was intact. harness was complete down to the gearbox. this fastened our work

engine finally settled into car. surrounding bolts fitted back to its position. crankshaft bolts locked down to torque converter of the gearbox. work continues tommorow
