There is nothing as annoying as using a smartphone for a very long time and it doesn’t receive any system updates talk more of OS update. TECNO devices for a very long time have been lacking in updates, and as a result of this, some of their devices tend to misbehave. It seems to me that as soon as a newdevice is launch, they tend to forget about those with older devices.

Anyway, TECNO took to their forum page and announced that starting from August 2017, Android N will be introduced to TECNO phones starting with "The Beast" (Phantom 6 Plus). That's right the Phantom 6 Plus will be getting Android Nougat this August. Not just that update but will also receive Hios 2.2 update

Other devices like TECNO Camon C8, C9 and the older TECNO smartphones are not mention but we are hoping that Android N will get to those devices too.

Everyone wants the updates/upgrades. Let's hope it goes round

I can't wait either, hopefully I'll be able to use the split screen feature on my camon C9 when the update comes

Not certain, just google if it's available. I think only note 3 and s2 has gotten the OTA update. Hot 4 and Hot S has the beta versions released. I currently use beta 2 on my Hot S
