If you have any thought process you will know that the Inec needs to verify every single signature against the bio data they have in their own data base and with the clumsy way the Kogi state govt paid all those people just to get them to sign there is no way the verification can go well except INEC want to hire Google to bring in its superior classified text to data optical recognition technology to help out ...this case is dead on Arrival but the good thing is that people have made small money from the signing jamboree

Who cares if Dino is recalled or not. What good has his representation brought to his constituency and Nigeria at large?

This whole drama will end in the thrash or perhaps result in a lengthy court process at the benefit of the academia. My reason is simple, from the 2015 results only ONLY 111,534 VOTED IN ELECTION BUT 188, 588 “SIGNED” PETITION FOR RECALL. Likewise Dino won the election by a very small margin; Melaye polled only 41,120 votes while his closest opponent, Smart Adeyemi, who ran on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but is now a member of APC, had 38,148 votes.Adeyemi challenged the outcome of the exercise at the election petition tribunal which ordered a recount. The recount showed that INEC gave Melaye more than 2,000 invalid votes. But it upheld his victory on the grounds that the number of invalid votes did not substantially alter the final results.Now, the sum of votes both candidates and five other top candidates had is 111,534. But it is doubtful that the number of actual voters in the election is way less than the 188,588 which trooped out for the “recall balloting”. (thecable.ng, 2017)

Looking at this argument , i feel what the people of Kogi west should be agitating for, is how their governor will pay the backlog of 15 months salary that the state government owes. Kogi state university has been closed for over 5 months now...I heard the strike was suspended today ( unconfirmed).So what this primarily means is that, Dino is not their problem rather its their clueless and opportunist governor who rode to stardom by virtue of Audu Abubakar's death. APC is a league of desperate politicians with no plans for Nigeria. Honestly they have recked so many businesses and Etisalat is a very good example.

For your info all senators spend 90 percent of the constituency funds on themselves and that includes Tinubu wife and know Dino makes most of his money from legislative gangsterism and racketeering which is committed by most committees in the Senate

69 A member of the Senate or of the House of Representatives may be recalled as such a member if-

69(a) there is presented to the chairman of the independent national Electoral Commission a petition in that behalf signed by more than one-half of the persons registered to vote in that members constituency alleging their loss of confidence in that member; and which signatures are duly verified by the independent national electoral commission; and

69(b) the petition is thereafter, in a referendum conducted by the Independent national Electoral Commission within ninety days of the date of reciept of the petition, approved by a simple majority of the votes of the persons registered to vote in that member's constituency.


all in all according to the constitution only two steps are shown.

You might call this witch hunting, but I personally think that Dino denigrated his office and was in many forms childish. Seems to be uneducated with so called 7 degrees.

He totally forgot about this route, thinking only tribunal can oust him.

This is a lesson to others, and mysteriously there ain't others behaving like him.
