Emusan:The enemy isn't that common Hausa or Yoruba man on the street who is equally hustling and also suffering the exact same problems as that same Igbo man on the streets. The problem has always being the useless elite leaders, and these elite leaders I talk about aren't restricted to any particular ethnic/regional/religious groups; they actually cut across all areas of Nigeria. I really don't see how breaking away from other ethnic nationalities or changing country name would solve this particular problem. Me thinks the core problem of demanding accountability from immediate leaders is of utmost importance; that is where these agitations should be channelled to. |

Billyonaire:First of all, I am bamboozled by your insinuations; can you please point out where I just insulted anyone on this thread?.... Could you be confusing my comments with someone else?... I simply stated a FACT that 98% of the agitators are unemployed and not-doing-fine people who are tiredness of the hopelessness in the system, hence they are clinging on to whatever it is they perceive as a glimmer of hope. It's unfortunate if you interpret that as an insult. My own position on the matter is that the people are chasing shadows because the people they have been brainwashed to see as enemies are not the enemy, but rather fellow compatriots suffering exactly the same fate. The problem has always been the heartless elite ruling class and these real enemies cut across all regions of the country (they don't exist only in certain selected regions of the country). Until this anger is directed at the right enemies, the whole agitations for secession will remain a deluded journey. If the elite ruling class even in Igboland are not held to ransom and forced to be accountable, the big problem will still persist and I do not see how secession will perform any magic on this (except NK just wishes to be another African hard-line dictator who would kill off all the elite when secession is achieved). If only half of the energy poured into calling for secession were to be directed at calling for restructuring (as a first step in pulling us out of a major political/economic quagmire), then at least, the agitation would not only have received massive support from intellectuals, it would also have received full support and endorsements from neighbouring zones (SS, SW and middle-belt). I just can't even rationalise how in 2017, of all the tribes in Nigeria, it then becomes the tribe has the widest national spread in terms of investments and commerce that would be calling for outright secession. What other evidence do you need to know that the agitation is devoid of intellectual inputs? |

| Re: HAPPENING NOW!!! Biafrexit: All Roads Lead To Umuahia (see Photos) by obailala(m): 12:52pm On Jun 28, 2017 |
Agumbaa:A call for restructuring is the only reasonable thing that should be done. FOr a tribe which has the widest economic and commercial spread with trillions in investments spread around the country, calling for outright secession is very thoughtless, or of course you will agree with me that the call is mainly championed by those who literally have absolutely nothing to lose. |

paBuhari:...and you are a secession beggar?... Let's see how you will achieve that and ruin the lives of millions of people simply because you cant match up to your mates. |

obailala:Then you should learn to hold your peace. The bitter truth is that no matter how much you scream and rant online, it would NEVER change a thing. Something is going on and you're not even aware.... As knowledgeable as you claim to be. |

obailala:I totally agree here but the truth is 90% of those on the street don't see themselves as one based on individual is ready to support his/her tribe/region/religion. The problem has always being the useless elite leaders, and these elite leaders I talk about aren't restricted to any particular ethnic/regional/religious groups; they actually cut across all areas of Nigeria.I agree here also but you must likewise know that these elites get away with whatever they do because every tribe/region/religion is protecting their OWN which leads us to the same fake ONE NIGERIA. Go to any Ministry in Abuja it has always been the Northerners in a country will say we are one. Do you think a Northern youths given opportunity to dominate ministry will ever go against their Elites who created such selfish opportunity? I really don't see how breaking away from other ethnic nationalities or changing country name would solve this particular problem. It will because no tribe will see another tribe as boss over them and each tribe can hold their leaders responsible without witch hunting or the saying HE/SHE is our son/daughter. Me thinks the core problem of demanding accountability from immediate leaders is of utmost importance; that is where these agitations should be channelled to.How will you demand accountability from one tribe without other tribe rose in support for their son/daughter? You see, there lies the problem. For instance, A governor who took power from his predecessor will never probe the immediate past governor not because there's nothing to probe but in the politics of other tribe won't see that we're fighting ourselves or we're not united. You see, our political system has always been one tribe against other tribe both at federal level down to the state. |

Are these people not supposed to be in their offices, sorry I mean shops? Well, they are mostly drug pushers, armed robbers and kidnappers. Does this mean that there are more ALMAJARIS in the East than in the North? I think we need Almajari Schools in the East also. |
