ur opinion I guess, education in ds part is seen from Ali and Simbi point of view n that's why u see everybody even a mad man on d street with a b.sc. Our education in ds part has been reduced to the classroom alone.

According to NUC 2014 rule, if you don't have 3.00 and above you can go masters without pgd. Even if it is your school.

but we still produce world class scholars from our home Universities. In my field, I can devour anybody fro any part of the world. Are they having a diffrent Plato, Aristotle, Heigel, Communism, Socialism, Karl Marx, Henri Fayol, Adams Smith,Sigmund Frued, Chinua achebe, Wole Soyinka, Olikoye Ransom Kuti et al from the ones whose works I studied in school? It truly you passed through the 4 walls of an university, the essence of your education is not to have a fixated mind, you must allow for opportunity to unlearn and relearn. Go and check an official document from the nigerian university you are studying or studied at.

First class
= 70% - 100%
and 70% of 5.0 is 4.5

same thing goes for 2nd class lower:
second class lower = 50% - 59%
and 50% of 5.0 is 2.5

anything below 2.5 is third class and pass

I did the Unilag online registration for a friend who had 2.80 in 2013. he studied sociology of education and bagged M.Ed Soc Ed.

My brother in law passed out with 2.4 and went ahead to study Geophysics and bagged M.Sc in Unilag.

You can't go for masters direct, 2.4 as second class lower is very true.

I know people from LASU that graduated with 2.40 and they were all awarded a second class lower division.
