Yes I agree with you abt the service center thingy,
When I have the time I will take it to alaba I have a sure engineer there. All these guys around me that calls themselves engineer, they will just worsen the condition of the phone and charge you big money grin.

Guys, come to my aid, my redmi baby is almost a month old now and i can hardly keep my hands off it, that'snot wven the problem, the problem is, i unconsciously enter the "who go hibernate first" competition with the phone's battery every night, thereby making me sleep and wake up on it every day for the past two weeks, will this have any effect on the screen?

The phone is Redmi 4A. I bought it because it supports Smile's 4G band 20. From what i read here, only two xiaomi phones supports Smile's band 20 for now. They are this redmi 4A and Note 4 Global. So I dont think your phone will work with Smile even if it is 4G because it does not support band 20. There is no trick to that. I stand to be corrected by my ogas at the top

Ok Grandmuftti said that also. What you do is go to your dial pad, Dial *#*#4636#*#* , it will open a Menu called testing you will see under it Pnone info 1, phone info 2, battery info, usage stat and wifi info. If your smile sim is in sim1, select phone info 1 or if in sim2 select phone info 2. Then select More option and enable data connection. After that you scroll down and change preferred network type from TD-SCDMA, GSM/WCDMA to LTE only. Then the 4G will come on. Whenever you put on airplane, just repeat the process to get the 4G signal back.

The flash is just too yellowish.
I think they got the dual tone flash wrong.

I visited my childhood street, and took some pictures forgetting to turn off the flash, only to get disappointed with Yellowish photos when i got home several miles away.
Without the flash it's very decent though.



An option is to go to the about page and tap the kernel version 5 times. Open a secret menu where you can switch off either of the flash lights colors permanently


OR

check if the TORCH light is using the white tone or the yellow tone.

If it's the white one, turn it on first, before opening the camera app and taking the picture.


OR

just install opencamera app. It has the option of turning on the flash permanently before taking pics. Normally uses the white tone flash to sef without any long thing.

Then how does one actually differentiate the N4 from the N4X if both read N4? Apart from hardware differences, isn't there any distinctive software difference to assure that one is holding the N4X instead of N4?
actually n4 Snapdragon and n4x is the same, the only difference is that n4 Snapdragon have extra band than 4x, so they are the same
