Last week Lagos Police Command sought help from three vigilante groups, OPC was one of them. On a surprise raid the vigilantes and police caught over 100 badoo members and wannabes.

Two days ago a local spotted a jeep with occupants, in the back of the jeep were grinding stones. So he raised alarm. They could not do this before but the action of police and vigilante empowered them to speak up and raised alarm. The gathered mob lynched the jeep occupants and took them to the palace of their traditional ruler and from there relocated them to a remote area where they set them ablaze. The jeep was burnt also.

This Chinedu is one of them burnt alive. It was not a mistaken identity he was badoo member.

I heard the story of the Suv with grinding stone in it yesterday from my younger brother who live in Ikorodu. Without proper investigation it is still an hearsay. But nonetheless jungle justice is evil and brings more evil on the land. Killing an innocent in the name of witch-hunting should never be allowed.

Only an Animal can publicly support this babaric act. It could have been ur brother or son who was passing by ikorodu n got lynched. There are so many visitors in Lagos, they are also so many lagosians who visit ikorodu for one reason or another and any could have been killed.

Am not in support of this jungle justice but the residents of Ikorodu are seriously angry at this cult group. Lots of innocent lives have been lost for no reason. What these badoo members are fighting for, people don't know. They just attack at night and kill, which is not fair to those people as well.
If you're not from there, stay clear as possible as you can once its getting late. Even residents go through serious checking. It's a war zone. They'll do anything to restore peace to that area.

Let us be logical here and stop reasoning the Nigerian way. Seeing a grinding stone in someone's car does not necessarily mean the individual(s) in the car were part of those doing the killings in ikorodu.

Four innocent "land speculators" who I believe are Yoruba were equally lynched several weeks ago in Ogijo. The poor folks were trying to escape from a fight that occurred in their attempt to collect money from a land owner. They were from a neighbouring town. Likewise, an alleged burgler was taken as a Badoo member and lynched as effort of policemen and local vigilante group to rescue him failed.

That is why jungle justice is not OK killing innocent people hmm Nigeria extra doing something God help us.

My question is both him,his employer and the mechanics aren't they aware of happenings in ikorodu of recent time,even if his car broke down can't they wait till day break before towing or must it be that night?if anybody read about those innocent families that has lost their lives to badoo group you will not pity anybody that was caught in a shady way and another thing is who knows the identity of the badoo members?

I want to believe they were interrogated before being lynched. I do not support jungle justice but it is common sense to be careful who you move with in Ikorodu. Better still if you are a resident, identify yourself with loads of peeps. It's a community. However how big. Would you say 3 to 7 people don't know you. Internet has made news spread. Out of 10 people in ikorodu 9.5 are aware of what's happening there.

If the three people who were burnt were criminals then I don't pity them. But if they were innocent people who were either framed or burnt for just a mistaken identity, then I pray that all who are supporting it including the ones liking your useless post be victims of mistaken identity and jungle justice.

Nigeria is too dangerous for anybody to be loosing their way late at night. Especially in hot spots like Ikorodu. If you are grown and dont have this simple knowledge for personal safety then you should live under curfew and not roam about late at night.

Ur really confused, the residents getting angry n killing passerbys is the most dangerous thing that can ever happen in this vase because wen u kill another mans brother, That man might cum for u with blood in his eyes n even kill more.

ikorodu residents should blame themselves n blame the government for this because it's the government that failed them, they also failed to get a oeooer head count, set up strong vigilante n trace these badoo members sharply n nip them in the bud before 2017.
