A Nigerian MC, Chinedu Paul a.k.a 'Think Twice' has been identified as one of the three men burnt to death in Ikorodu yesterday after being suspected to be a member of the dreaded badoo cult group.

According to reports, the incident happened few hours after he attended 'IK talk show' on Saturday. MC Think Twice alongside his mechanics were on their way to tow his car which had broken down at midnight.

Unfortunately, they were all mistaken for badoo members and hence the jungle justice.

there can never be any justification for self help or what u call jungle justice because it is better to free 100 criminals than to kill one innocent person( whom probably might have been a victim of crime himself) u cant be the accuser, prosecutor and executioner, if u can agree with me that thier is a one percent chance u could be wrong then why resort to jungle justice...it baffles me and completely defers logic why someone could justify and support jungle justice.

i ve seen situations were people think they actually commited a crime when in actual sense someone took advantage of their laxity for instance i know a case were someone openly threatened to kill his brother over property and in the night he proceeded to the brothers room and covered his nose with a pillow and in his mind suffocated the brother but he didnt know that his brother cus of that threat mounted a cctv camera in his the whole house and when he threatend his brother someother person took advantage of it and went before he could come and poisoned the brother dat night so before he could come the brother was already dead...now if u had caught this definetly u would have
lynched as even him confessed to the crime but then the autopsy report showed that the man died of poison and not suffocation thats how the camera revealed the actual culprit.

the above and more like dis arr reason why u cant justify jungle justice cus even when u think ur sure dia is a possibility u could be wrong.

How can u be sure about what u saying ？I do not support jungle justice, I loathe it with passion but the truth is the ikorodu community members are acting under loss-inspired anger . They shud have been careful and I maintain that we should remove tribal or ethnic biases, jungle justice is everywhere.

Fact is that those guys in ikorodu has killed many innocent people already and if they have brain, they will stop.
Someone here even said they took some so called badoo members to a chief or king in their community before they killed him..... meaning that even our leaders support such.

Now let's analyze this carefully, i understand the pain and anger felt by the people of ikorodu. (1)why the hurry in executing jungle justice. They could have waited till early morning and still carried out investigations before ascertaining the status of the occupants of the car. (2)what if this Chinedu guy is innocent and just merely entered the mechanic's car who allegedly is or are badoo members to go tow the alleged car. (3) where does Chinedu reside?, is it ikorodu, and if not what was he doing in ikorodu at that time. (4) were the mechanic's workshop visited to confirm the mechanics really work there. My point is there should have been some room for investigation before concluding. My take. Only time will tell.

Very saddening I must say. The people in their quest to stop the badoo group may eventually kill more innocent people than criminals.

It is very possible that the so-called badoo group are among the people perpetrating the jungle justice in the area.

The guys they killed at odongunyan were confirmed badoo boys.before they were killed one of them confess they were badoo but they refused mention names of their god fathers.

This was what I said yesterday when one certain Amusa Opeyemi on this forum was boasting of them dealing with the criminals. I just imagine the pains they've caused this guy's family. The people who soiled their hands in this saga should know they have indirectly placed curses on themselves. I also want the security agencies to trace some of the comments on issues like this to fish out the culprits. Say no to jungle justice!

I wwas going to raise this point too. It was alleged that they were caught around 1am in a hot zone. They may or may not be badoo members but they should have been more cautious.

They could not do this before but the action of police and vigilante empowered them to speak up and raised alarm. The gathered mob lynched the jeep occupants and took them to the palace of their traditional ruler and from there relocated them to a remote area where they set them ablaze. The jeep was burnt also.

This Chinedu is one of them burnt alive. It was not a mistaken identity he was badoo member.
