This man was a former governor and present senator who supports SHARIA LAW. Sharia is no theory: a citizen has had his arm chopped off as a result of application of the law. If you go to any sharia state, your rights are abridged to fit the law. Here he is, now caught up in adultery / fornication, for which the SENTENCE IS DEATH and he claims it is an act between two adults. Are we to have one law for senators and another for common people ?.
What happened to the application of the law ?
Does Sharia now permit an individual to engage in three.some's ? So Sharia now permits 'jugunu' with ash.awo ? If 'yes', since when ?

The biggest problem in nigeria is it's people. They have no clue about how things are done which is why their leaders take them as fools. He is a senator. He makes laws based mostly on his beliefs and character. Such a person needs all the scrutiny that comes with the job. If it were a private citizen then SR would be wrong. Give me an example of one senator in the U.S who did what your senator did and wasnt' forced to resign. Funny thing is you all wonder why you are not moving forward. This man signed sharia into law as Yobe State governor and till date, that law still holds in Yobe. As a direct result of that law, many are presently in jail, have properties confiscated, have been lashed with the cane, are awaiting the hang man etc etc. Under that law, fornication, adultery, alcohol ingestion or trading, privacy with unrelated opposite sex etc are all criminal acts with varying penalties from fines to lengthy jail terms. Is the senator not guilty and should he not face the sharia court in this instance? Is this video not evidence enough to put him behind bars for keeps?
