Most of the time what causes this gridlock is impatience... .if everybody could be calm and maintain three lanes everything would go smoothly

Abuja - Keffi is one of the best highways i have seen in Nigeria (c.2011). Don't know if it's still like that.

The highway is still good, just that the volume of traffic is too much.

Most drivers are just soooo wicked, haba!! Also always in a hurry.

3 Lane Road will turn to 6 Lanes, sigh. All man for himself. Why does it have to be that way?

Some are so wicked, they will not let you enter their front in traffic, even after you've waited for 3 cars to pass your front, they will just match their accelerator without looking at ur face.

If everyone could just maintain 3 lanes as you said, giving each other room to change lanes easily, the traffic will flow, even if it's at an average of 5km/hr.

Anyways, me in Lagos, whenever I come across traffic, I just relax. If you like don't allow me to enter your front, if you like cut me off, I don't care. We will all reach our destination by God's grace and I won't dent my car just to gain extra 5 mins, but have to pay 20k in unforseen repair bills.

That's not Abuja it's the outskirts,It's been that way for many many years. Yes it's expensive to live in the main city but it's far better n peaceful n enjoyable than the stress people who live in that axis pass thru.
