BA!!!! To the glory of God, I welcomed my princess yesterday by 10:10pm at 37weeks, weighing 3.2kg via emergency CS. Mom and baby are doing so well. B.S. later.

I want to first of all return all the glory to God Almighty for mercies, grace, protection, provisions throughout the period of pregnancy, labour and delivery, of a truth if it were not the lord who gave me victory, maybe by now I wouldn't be alive..
There was this particular man my hubby had misunderstanding with, he sent several threats via SMS to my hubby that I will suffer severe bleeding and my husband will spend a lot trying to save me which Will be in vain, this was happening a week before I put to bed. So we started praying more fervently and doing midnight prayers.
on the 6th hubby and I went for our routine walk, we usually walk morning and evening so we left by 5.22pm, walking around our neighborhood. at around 7.10pm, I noticed I was having regular contractions that were strong, so I told my hubby and we started heading home. got home at about 7.30pm and a warm bath and started monitoring the contractions, it was coming 3 times in 10 minutes lasting 45 seconds, so I told hubby that we should go to the hospital cause our house is a bit far from the hospital, I was thinking I will sleep over and give birth around 3/4 am.
We got to the hospital at around 10.40 pm. the nurse that saw me said I should go and take a bed and sleep because she saw me gisting and laughing with hubby, I insisted she checked me so I can know how far gone I am. so she did V.E and shouted 7cm. she quickly told my hubby to bring my hospital bag , she told me not to get down from the bed again, that I should lie by my side.
My sisters that was when I started feeling the real pain, before then when contraction hit me I Would walk around and it helped me in bearing the pain. Anytime the contractions came, all I did was to call Jesus, and sincerely he came and was with me, at around 11.47pm, the contraction s became unbearable as though my waist wanted to break, I called out to the nurse that I felt like poking, she just told me to relax that when next the contraction comes and I still feel that way that I should tell her, so immediately the contraction came my membranes ruptured spontaneously, and the urge to push was irresistible, so the nurses placed the delivery mat and told me that the head of my baby was visible that I shouldn't waste the contraction and that I should push with it
I pushed 3times and my prince came out with a very loud cry that they said there was no need suctioning at about 12.03am, placenta was delivered and I was cleaned up
just want to return all glory to God who did it for me, baba ndewo, imeela. I also want to appreciate my hubby for the care and support throughout this period and to everyone on this thread, really learnt a lot.
To my remaining teamies, may the God that did it for me make it easy for you. and to other waddling mamas it Will surely end in praise, to the TTC mamas, this is your month of divine visitation only believe.

Pls Teamies, let's endeavour to drop both BA and BS as soon as we can. God will strengthen us through the vigilante period.
We shall not suffer postpartum depression and there shall be no loss of any kind.

Yes it did but not fast enough cos mine was really low and I was soo pale and nearing edd! So i augmented with garden egg leaf and the result was awesome.
My hb levels went from 7 point something to 10 point 2 withing 1 month of taken astyfer/astymin and rose to 15.5 withing 2weeks of adding garden leaf.

Eat lots of veggies it helps too and avoid taking milk or calcium tabs together with your ferrous tabs.

Capo phlakkeys, thanks for d mention. God bless u. I am fine and counting down. I really cant wait. I have been having this upper thigh cramp since yday and i dont know what that means, it happens eapecially when i am asleep and wakes me up. I just want this whole thing to be over soon.
Congratulations to all my july mamas that have offloaded. May ur LO's bring u everlasting joy and happiness.

To God be the glory, the evacuation was successful. I was induced and delivered the baby. Placenta refused to come out and cervix closed back. I had to go thru D&C again. In all, I thank God for the gift of life. I lost so much blood that the Dr was scared, but God replenish it back. He deserves my praise. I know HE has a better plan for me, and he knows the reason why this happen (it might be my fault either, I wouldn't know). May the spirit of the baby forgive me if it's my fault. Can't still get over it, but who am I to question God.

Really! I take calcium tablets also with astyfer and pregnacare.I also take milk but not all the time. I started taking calcium when I started noticing back pains in second trimester. I will look for the garden egg leaf. Do I cook it or eat it raw? My pcv was 35 the last time dropping from 39.

Wait an hour or two before or after taking ferrous to take milk or calcium cos it inhibits iron absorption.

Raw is best for the garden egg leaf but you can still eat it steamed with other veggies or unripe palntain.

Lemme cook something new like I did today.....


My husband hates yam.... I love it.
So today, he travelled and by the time he came back, he met yam...
He was like , how can I travel the whole day and come and meet yam
I wanted to fry nice eggs before but I was like Choi!
So I quickly changed recipe.... Diced the yam, dropped it in hot sizzling oil, added some of my very nice dry fish stew, salt, bouillon cubes, curry and thyme. Cut up some Ugwu leaves just lying around. Put on low heat.
Started beating eggs...... Chomp chomp chomp, by then my husband had gone out with a loud bang that had me ....i mean I hurt my toe while trying to fix him something new (agreed that I spent the whole day in the market and came in a few hours before him... Roll eyes)
By now, I was semi mad at him, who will eat this now? We already had our meals...
Then I checked the food on fire and poured the eggs all over the concoction, low heat and covered the pan.
I chilled till the eggs cooked. Turned it over ,let the other side cook.
Served with my yummy dry fish (eja kika)
My husband came home, I'm like "if you don't eat this food I'm never cooking for you , just remove your share of the money and mine too from chop money,let me know it's only the kids I have to cook for....
He was just looking at me like .
He was out for just like 10 minutes, why did I think he had gone out to eat? I met him fixing the light bulbs o, but in my mind e don chop belleful for outside.


Anyways, he cleaned his plate.... thoroughly. He always have leftovers but not today!

Pls mamas in the house. I cant thank God enof for blessing my womb. But I av a lil prob. Am presently at 15 weeks and am starting to see something like strecth marks close to my navel. .

Some mamas have recommended one or two solutions in the past but I never took note bks I felt my tommy was too fresh to av any marks.

Pls help me before it gets out of hand.
