Somebody with noble intentions will not spend 6 whole months doing nothing after being swear in as a president.
Think about it. If you were the one, will you spend 6 whole months travelling around the world and doing practically nothing for your country as a president when you have noble intentions for your country?

In case you don't know, PMB started failing even long before the coming of militancy and his health issues.

Is on record: PMB is a failure. Yes, this is not the first time he is failing Nigeria.
It is very unfortunate Nigerians voted him again into power dispite his monumental failure status.

You'd think they didn't know how woefully he performed in 1984. It was Tunde Idiagbon who actually did all the job, while Bubu, as the military head of state, took all the glory.

Pardon him for he knows absolutely zilch about running any economy. What about his anti corruption and anti terrorism crusade? If he doesn't have the foggiest idea of demand and supply and market economy, what about his so called integrity that wouldn't permit any thieving politician or any deranged jihadist to walk free?

Ah! Tinubu and his sophisticated brothers have brought such a mess upon us, that it would take a decade to break even from the horrible medieval voodooism mallam Bubu is torturing us with.

If we are to pardon most of the youths who campaigned and voted for an inept Bubu because they were too young to realize how empty he was in 1984, what about the "old cargoes" who were adults back then? The "elders" who retrieved a relic that ought to be consigned to a museum, forced him to wear suits and look presentable, so that lobotomised folks (the ones called zombies) would still vote him into power.

Emmm...the people deserve the sort of leaders they get. Nigerians have shown they are too dense to rise above tribal and religious sentiment to vote a worthy candidate into office.

As at today, Bubu is the best Nigerians can offer. He is the best among all of us, which is why he was made number one citizen. Pathetic!

Well, for me the issue is that Nigeria has never had a good economy.

Since we got independent, we have been relying on revenues from selling our raw materials to the West and Asia...whose companies promptly take them and use them to essentially manufacture goods that make higher profits than what we sold them for.

Buhari is not responsible for the bad economy. The reason why the economy is bad is because oil prices have fallen to levels that make it difficult to earn enough dollars to meet basic needs. And the dollar restrictions brought in by the Govt...needed to prevent us going broke.....make things harder...as paradoxically, investors pull out because they cannot remit dollars.

At the same time, the govt is responsible for the solution....and what they are doing is waiting for oil to rise again. Bad idea. Oil is never going to go back to $100 and above.

The reason why govt is not applying the solution is that the solution involves severe austerity economics, heavy investment in rail, power and other infrastructure...which means taking heavy loans with strict conditions., fighting corruption....even beyond what is happening now., restriction of imports, total removal of subsidies, increased taxes,and so on.

IN other words....solutions that both the Nigerian political class and the Nigerian people don't like.(IN 2012...GEJ brought in the good idea of subsidy removals....which were opposed by most Nigerians because they could not see beyond the fact that fuel was now at N140 per liter ).

But if we want a productive economy, we have to take measures that leave us less dependent on selling raw materials, and more dependent on manufactured goods....especially goods produced by the sweat of our innovation and works. Whether this government, or the opposition is ready to make the hard choices needed....rather than wait for oil to go up again....is the question

So, the narrative in recent times especially from those who support the present regime, is that "PDP destroyed" our country and it will take time to rebuild it. I don't think so...

1. *Sen. Pres. Bukola Saraki. PDP Governor for 8yrs and PDP Senator for over 3 yrs.* Joined APC in 2014. He is the Senate President.

2. *Speaker Yakubu Dogara. Two-term PDP House of Rep member.* Joined APC in 2014 and was elected for a third time in 2015. He is the Speaker.

3. *VP Atiku Abubakar. Nigeria's PDP Vice-President for 8yrs* and presently an APC Elderstatesman after jumping from one party to the other since 2007.

4. *Sen. Victor Ndoma-Egba. PDP Senator for 12yrs.* Decamped to APC about two months ago. He is the serving Chairman, NDDC Board.

5. *Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri. Two-term PDP Senator from Bayelsa State.* Decamped to APC after the 2015 elections. He is a serving Minister of the Republic.

6. *Sen. Ita Enang. Two-term PDP Senator from Akwa-Ibom.* Joined APC before the 2015 elections. Presently the SSA to the President on NASS.

7. *Gov. Samuel Ortom. Long-serving Benue State Secretary of the PDP. Former National Auditor of the PDP and former Minister under Pres. Jonathan.* Joined APC in December 2014. He is the Governor of Benue State.

Now, *save for Atiku who is a serial Presidential aspirant waiting for another election year to continue with his impossible dream of becoming Nigeria's President,* all the above are holding offices in this regime. *They all played a part in the 16yrs of "PDP destruction"* but somehow are members of the APC that want to "rebuild". Wow!

My submission therefore is that *PDP did NOT destroy Nigeria. PDP is just a name/acronym.* The Nigerian people destroyed Nigeria.

*Hence, let us vote candidates/people in 2019, not party.* The *human being is the issue, not APC, PDP, APGA or LP.*

As we can see from above. Change is pipe dream in this country. If you are part of a problem, definitely you can't be part of the solution. Our politicians lack credibility. They have no ideology. They jump ship instantaneously. They are political mathematicians. in fact , they are more physicists than Einstein. As soon as they discover , where pendulum of victory is swinging, they wait at the end of the oscillation and catch the pendulum itself. These same set of people paved way for PMB's emergence and they are big stakeholders in his government. So our innocent President is helpless . Undoubtedly, he can achieve little with the corrupt politicians around him............
This readily brings to mind the new initiative by the Green Movement as the best alternative option for Nigerians �� . May it be, amen!!!.
