The law says petition on recall must be concluded in 90 days, petition on Dino's recall was received on June 21st by inec but the court while giving the injuction adjourned the case to September 29th, so in a nutshell the 90 days had elapse by the time court resumes .

Can we say this recall don enter voicemail

INEC should recall Imo Senators, except Sen Samuel Anyanwu and then we know they are serious. They don't even need any petition to recall those ones

That Governor however is a BIG let down to the youth, to Nigeria and to the Ebira people. This is the first civilian governor from another tribe other than Igala in that state and he appears more satisfied walking around with a swagger stick than doing anything meaningful.

This is wonderful news. The ill-fated recall was political in the first place. Dino has helped a lot of folks from kogi west. Something the predecessors didn't do.

This fight is not just about Dino, but the entire senate, even his colleagues that hate him would be against it, cos once the recall process works, everyone would start recalling the other senators.

If these polithiefcians think all the rest of us are dumb and they are the smart ones buying the law and the playing on our collective sensibilies, they should know that the next wave of violent unrests will be at their doorsteps.

And to rub it in, the Senate summoned the Chief of Staff to the governor of Kogi state to appear before them on a matter I'm yet to confirm. Now, the COS is a personal friend to the governor as well. This country is truly a zoo. Nnamdi Kanu was spot on.

I tell you the truth, there is heavy disappointment from the judiciary. Is there no constitutional process for verification of the signatures? Why should dino be allowed to interfare with the process? If he is sure that the signatures are fake, then verification will vindicate him. Anger is rapidly rising.

What kind of silly injunction is that. Can a person halt the wishes of the people who put him there. Very dangerous for democracy. INEC should do the needful and resume the obvious. Dino should go and answer to the people who sent him to Abuja to represent them. Abuja should have no right to thwart what is considered a 'local' matter. After all the saying goes that all politics is local.
