The truth is that this dichotomy between Hnd and Degree has eaten deep in Nigeria, it won't go away overnight.
I don't even know whether Hnd holders can do Masters directly, without getting a PGD.

Most private owned Companies and organizations will still continue with their own dichotomy of degrees and Hnd.

Don't get me wrong, I don't support this, neither do I have anything against Polytechnic graduates.

But one thing I have noticed from most of you is the awkward desire to ridicule degree holders, you guys always feel you're better trained and should be given preference, that degree holders don't know what the are doing.

Do not jubilee yet, Dichotomy still exist. Both Bsc and HND collect same salary yes! But ranking differs why Senior Inspector and Assistant supretendent, the Inspector can not wear STAR Rank but BAR they should do more

That means the people that designed the educational curriculum are so stupid. Even though most people will jubilate over this, but there's difference between SSCE, OND, HND, BACHELORS, MASTERS, and PhD holders.
Why not equate SSCE and B.Sc too? Or Masters and PhD? Organisations pay different salaries for a reason.

HR personnel should throw more light.

Well, after all in the present Nigeria, OND/HND are getting jobs more than B.Sc/Masters holders. Not because of experience or what, but for 'Cheap' labour.

Congrats to our polytechnic graduates!

HND holders have an orientation of practical aspect of knowledge unlike B.sc that produces literature or theory orientated students. Dicotomony is indeed an impartial sharp line between them. HND graduates are indeed more productive.

I see no difference between B.Sc and HND holders....

Then everyone should write and pass same exam..

This will only benefit those working in federal parastatals because these days even Bsc. Holders dey earn HND salary for private coys

Long overdue, i pray the NSCDC will do the needful now.
