You are right. There is no doubt that demand has gone down. Surge is very limited even on the Island and it goes off quickly. Many times, you may even be in a surge area and not get requests until the surge goes down. I don't think the problem is that there are more drivers. I think that riders are tired of paying surge money and have found other alternatives.

Taxify is good but bad network is not good for their app

Taxify request is the worst, you can wait for more than 4 hours without rider and their app is problematic

My brother, that's why I don't work without surge or promo. Uber can be slavery. As I talk to you now, i am offline, parked somewhere in VI. I am waiting for surge to come up in Lekki. If it doesn't come, I will go home and drink my garri jejely. Slave trade ended decades ago. I won't put myself in that condition again
