A high SAINT sef
Is God that is punishing them now

It took about 6 months before the saints were revealed to Bubu in the spirit. grin grin grin

We couldn't fault him according to BMC crew, since it takes time to get response from the spirit world. As we all know the way things work spiritually is quit different and only revealed to the worthy in spirit. grin grin grin grin

I still wonder how Bubu was able to "use the head" of all the profs and well-learned Nigerians, and still using the head of some till tomorrow?

And to think the same INEC, at the start of this week, said they will go ahead with the recall exercise, only to make a u-turn is just baffling. Well, we are gradually seeing the bunch of dummies in this administration. The INEC Chairman is one of them. Easily intimidated.

It's worse, this administration and this set of senate has placed a rubber stamp on " do as you wish ", now every politician will have the ideology of, i can escape with anything...Nigerians are the victims sha, i feel for the people cause due process has been rigged...

If this is true which I find it hare to dispute. Does it means the Prof himself is corrupt? Buhari obviously didn't make the right choices at all. The President is destroying his legacy with the appointment of all these guys who have questions to answer.

The damage has bn done already. The moment PMB started making appointments late 2015, political experts gave the verdict that, this administration will be a failure. He has just succeeded in causing damage to his own personal integrity by appointing crooks into his govt. It is sad.

bros, dino might not be a saint but the question is, is the man behind his recall a saint? God is not partial sir. how can an unelected man unseat an elected fellow? i am from Kogi and can categorically tell u that d man behind his recall is a monumental failure and a big disgrace to youths. d bail out funds, d flood funds, d parish funds, the monthly allocations yet, kogites are dying of hunger. they kept shouting for power shift to d minority, dead gave it to them and today, kogi is like shit. obviously, youthful political leadership in naija is worst.

I am also from Kogi and I agree with you on the bolded. Yahaya Bello is the worst thing to have happened to any state in the history of Nigeria.

When the cattle rearer nominated INEC boss,I remember his tainted tenure at TETFUND was brought up,but just like many of his nominees well documented corrupt antecedents were brought to d fore,Buhari played deaf and dumb, while choking our airwaves & cyberspace with claims of integrity.
Every sane Nigerian knows d senate is a den of corruption headed by one of d most corrupt leaders this country has ever known, but when u appoint well documented corrupt people to aid any govt organ and expect that same appointee to investigate or sanction another person or department of govt,u are either a fool, mentally challenged or a joker
Buhari with almost all of his appointees after wasting 6-12mths doing so,showed us he is either all or one of d above.

No wonder the INEC chairman signed the letter under duress and made a mistake in the date. Instead of 13 July 2017, he wrote 23 July 2017
I also heard the INEC comisser for Kogi State has been redeployed.
Corruption has killed Nigeria.

Onu kwuru njo ga emecha kwuo nma. In cases like this, you appreciate the good man GEJ, who appointed Jega head of Inec.

If we could remember 2 names came up that time. Attahiru Jega and Col Dangiwar Umar (Rtd). GEJ didn't go to his Geo political zone to appoint Inec Chairman, he even left the whole South and appointed a core northerner who couldn't be blackmailed with corruption as of the time of his appointment.

A wrong political move by GEJ but posterity, history will be so kind to him.

Now fast forward to non - tolerant anti corruption Buhari. He replaced Jega with his blood relation (nepotism) and when the noise became too much, Buhari installed a man who's hands are stained with corruption money from TETFUND. People shouted and protested especially online but Buhari insisted.

What guarantee do we have that this man will be an unbiased and courageous referee in the 2019 elections?

The problem in Nigeria has gone beyond what you're saying. The seed of disunity sown amongst us has already countered that one voice.

So he has skeleton in his cupboard yet the FG still retain him as INEC umpire.
How can he conduct free, fair, credible and acceptable election when his hands are not clean. He who must go to equity must go with clean hands.
nwakibie3:
The sudden U-turn by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to halt action on efforts by voters in Kogi West to recall Senator Dino Melaye came as a result of the Senate’s decision to probe the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund). After a meeting earlier today, INEC decided to freeze the recall effort, citing legal complications.

From 2007 to 2012, INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, served as TETFUND’s Executive Secretary. His time at the Fund was marked by a series of allegations of corruption against him. “It is not an accident that, once the Senate threatened to investigate TETFund, Professor Mahmood Yakubu’s INEC quickly retreated from the ongoing effort to recall Senator Dino Melaye,” a Senate source told our correspondent.

As recently as last Monday, INEC had been adamant that the process to recall Mr. Melaye was on course. That day, Mr. Melaye’s lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, had submitted legal papers to INEC officials, claiming that an order by Justice John Tsoho that all parties ought to maintain the status quo was sufficient to abandon the recall initiative. Even so, INEC initially maintained that the judge’s pronouncement was not sufficient to halt the process, pointing out that the judge did not agree to grant an interim order to back a cessation of action.

Afterward, INEC began the next phase of the recall that had to do with verification of signatures. However, Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu did not hide the Senate’s dismay for the process. In an obstructionist response, he described the process as dead on arrival.

Public pushback against the Senate’s interference was sharp and massive. A senator told our correspondent that, on Tuesday night, Senate President Saraki and other Senate leaders met and decided that, in order to contain the recall, “some rough tactics were called for.” At the end of the meeting, the senators decided that the most potentially effective strategy was to open a probe into TETFUND’s past projects, alleging that contractors had stolen funds there in the past.

Jibrin Barau, an APC senator from Kano State, moved a motion demanding a probe of TETFund. He said that “investigative audit” was required of the contracts awarded by TETFund in the past years.

Twenty-four hours after the Senate move, INEC met and decided to suspend the recall, even though the commission said it was going to seek a vacation of the court order to enable the commission to resume the recall.

However, an INEC official told us that the commission’s leadership was not in the least interested in any effort to overturn the unclear court on which basis the recall was stopped. “We all know that judges are going on vacation and the maximum time allowed from start to finish for the recall would present a legal problem for INEC when the case comes up for hearing at Justice Tsoho’s court on September 29th 2017,” said the source.

He added that the attempt by Kogi voters to recall Mr. Melaye “has been sacrificed on the altar of Professor Yakubu’s desire to protect himself and his associates from a probe of TETFund.”
