I m in bayelsa now and currently there are biafran flags in almost all the major street and even in river state oyigbo precisely.same with east.
Please what's the federal government doing about these because flags also mean control of territories.
We yorubas needs to stand up and fight for our own country,i have not even seen our flag oduduwa nation before.
Although I don't support lagos been part of oduduwa because we are more developed than other yorubas in both character.
Lagos we be a small but mighty country.
United state of lagos loading.
They call me the only neat and truthful yoruba girl.

Yorubas must be so special chai. Must you people blame Yoruba for everything?

Yoruba support Disintegration of Nigeria - Niggerians go talk, Plateau man will say you want to Abandon me to be slaughtered by Hausa-Fulani
Yorubas say Okay then, One Nigeria - Niggerians from another corner will scream about how one region have 57 senators while they have 18
Yoruba say okay, let's try restructuring - Ebonyi & Wawa people go talk say NEVER, we can't go back 2 Eastern region to become Anambra's slaves

What do Nigerians want as a people sef? !

So as you can see, it is the other tribes that are being "Vapid" not the Yorubas.

All this noise making is unnecessary and uncalled for, just do the needful;

The Biafrans in the North have 78'days left to go.

We are counting , please remember to take all your belongings with you to Biafra, Dickson can join.

but i do not restructuring though but total disintegration. This is the only solution. We Yorubas are better on our own. We will develop and do better on our own.
this is actually what my view is.Yorubas will be better off without one Nigeria.let all other minorities in d middle belt and other places fight their own course.the thing is not working again. Is it by force?

Soyinka is completely correct, and the only people who would deny this obvious truth are those who fear they will lose out heavily if they have to renegotiate the terms of Nigeria's existence on true terms of equality with the other parts. Nigeria is not a voluntary union like the USA, so it makes no sense to repeat nonsense about how the country's unity is "non-negotiable", since nobody agreed to enter such a union in the first place: this "nation" was created at gunpoint entirely for the benefit of the British.

NOT SO FAST: USA was voluntary formed at the first, but why is it not possible for any of the state to opt out now?
Abi marriage na by force? Even if we are legally married, can we not legally be separated or divorced?

Why did the rest of the USA fought the seceding Southern states, am talking of the USA's Civil War?

So the truth is even Prof Wole Soyinka was wrong to state that "everything is negotiable, but the right of the people to agitate is not negotiable" (paraphrasing)

Yes, most reasonable people do not like the rots and the current social-economic and political system which is also promoting the rots in the first place. But for some "i too sabi" to think the solution to this problem is the balkanization of Nigeria is a stupidity at its highest peak.

Questions:
1) How many countries should Nigeria now have?
2) what and who will stop the right of any minority tribe or even sub-tribe within the same ethnic group from seeking to be an independent country?
3) what will happen to those who have inter-married?
4) what of people who have lived in other regions since birth but still maintain their unique identity, and those who does not want to relocate to the newly formed country of their own tribe or region)
5) what will happen to all of the investment and properties of the people who have to migrate willingly and unwillingly from one place to another?
6) how many years does anyone think it might take to negotiate and resolve all of these issues amicably?
7) what if any of the parties renege on the agreement to separate after a while during the negotiating period)
cool lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzz am laughing out aloud!

Those who insist on balkanization of Nigeria into different Independent Nations are SIMPLETONS, WHO CANNOT THINK DEEP OR JUST PLAIN MISCHIEF MAKERS WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM THE UTMOST CHAOS, RUIN, DEATH AND DESTRUCTION WHICH WILL ARISE FROM THE BALKANIZATION OF NIGERIA

SOME OF US WHO SAYS, NIGERIA'S UNITY IS NON NEGOTIABLE AS ONE COUNTRY ARE NOT DOING IT BECAUSE WE ARE HAPPY WITH OUR PRESENT PREDICAMENT, BUT BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT THE DESTRUCTION WHICH WILL FOLLOW WILL SET THE BLACK RACE BACKWARD FOR ANOTHER CENTURY OR MORE.

Nigeria is the most populated black country in the world, does not have enough land mass and if war breaks out, the refugee problem it will cause will be so huge that all our neighbours will not be able to cope with it. Not to talk of the security implication from all kinds of rebels and counter rebels.

THINK THINK AND THINK SOME MORE..... NIGERIANS! LET US LEARN TO LOVE AND LIVE TOGETHER AS ONE GREAT UNITED NIGERIA.

I. AM USING THIS UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO DECLARE WITH ALL MY LIFE THAT I WILL SUPPORT THE UNITY OF NIGERIA AS ONE COUNTRY UNDER GOD. I WILL ASO SUPPORT ANY VIABLE ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL RESTRUCTURING THAT CAN BE MUTUALLY AND PEACEFULLY AGREED UPON FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL NIGERIANS. SO HELP ME GOD.

Does your quote not strike you as dumb ?

What has Soyinka benefited from Nigeria that Nigeria has not gotten back two-fold ?

If Soyinka has benefited from the union and he still sees a need to restructure then what does that tell you ?
Before you were born and probably when your parents were in diapers, Soyinka was agitating for Nigeria's development. At 83 he still is a voice or reason and progress, ever the progressive.

Say something reasonable or shut it.
what he mean that they and some other element are the one benefitting from the union, him coming from that element should not be talking like that. but he is wrong anyway.

reading some comments online from some Yorubas and their arguments, sometimes keep me wandering why they are still supporting and ready to die for a deadlock project like Nigeria.with God on our sides,we ve everything to succeed and more better off.maybe there is more to it sha,cos I just don't understand why pple will prefer to stay in an abusive and love less marriage like Nigeria's

You are an intelligent omoluabi and i like you for that. I myself do not know why some of our people think this way. Even the old ones keep on insisting on "One Nigeria". These old ones are the reason why we are still in Nigeria. Assuming they had left the country during their youth, things would have been better today. The most annoying thing is when i hear some Yoruba youths shouting "One Nigeria" all over the place. These people dont know they are repeating their father's mistakes. This country cannot develop.
Not in a million years
I am happy we have some youths like you. It is high time we leave this country so our children will not pass through the terrible system of this country
