This is why nobody help accident victims this days and all we end up doing is snapping pictures.Nigerian police are as stupid as you can think of,that i can guarantee you.You report a case and they task you for money and if you don't drop anything, they have this nonchalant ways of responding. What kind of institution is that? Some of the officers are no different from thieves you see at night.Criminals and rapist.....I have proof of that. Anyway proper investigation should be done with autopsy. Just because the car or bus wasn't hit doesn't mean that you can't have head injury when you hit the brakes hard.. |

texazzpete:And the result was what? Just Murder? really and that is called autopsy? Autopsy is carried out to determine the cause of one's death not whether it was murder or suicide or accident.... was it caused by a broken bone? internal bleeding? where and where was affected? those are the things an autopsy result should contain not just Murder. |

7footre: There was hardly a single sensible comment on that thread. Both sides of the story have to be heard. Yes NPF is notorious for detaining people without just cause BUT we can't assume that's the case all the time. Wonder what the zealots on the other thread would say if this boy is found to actually be a cultist |

A part of me believes that even though the boy in detention may not be involved in the killing, he knows exactly what transpired that led to the killing. The excuse of an averted accident is simply a ruse to shield what actually took place. I'm sure most people's opinion would be the same if they hadn't used the 'coming back from church programme' excuse as used here. As much as I sympathise with the boy in detention, we need to understand that a family just lost a loved one. It's the duty of law enforcement to get to the bottom of it. At the very least, the fact that an incident leading to the death of someone wasn't reported immediately to the police suggests a cover-up. |

I smell a rabbit in this matter. Children in school now hide under religious activities to carry out evil acts. Many strange things happen on campus these days. Only God will deliver the innocent ones. |

Nutase:Stop saying what you know nothing about, stop allowing your emotions cloud your reasoning. Everywhere in the world, a case of murder, treason, robbery, and in the case of Nigeria, also kidnapping are not bailable because they are capital offenses. In such cases, whoever the suspects are are kept either in police custody till police investigation is completed, and this case won't be an exception. |

So I have read the previous thread and this, if it was true they had a near accident, its very possible the guy had an internal injury, most likely hit his head hard , and then later screamed in pain. As for not reporting to the police, how many Nigerians report to the police when they had an accident in which someone died. I beleive those in the bus will still be in a state of shock from that experience, tires screeching and all that. I believe the parents may be suspecting foul play because he was the only one that died, but he might have just been the only one that was injured which led to his death , even ghastly accidents do happen in which just one person dies. How will autopsy just say murder, which sort of report is that. Autopsy should show if he was stabbed, if he was hit or if his head hit something. I suspect that guy had a terrible injury during that so called near accident maybe his head impacted something, almost certain of that. By the way they did the right thing by taking him to the hospital when they saw he was bleeding. they should also realize that those other people too in the bus were likely still shocked from the near impact. And knowing the NPF I hope all of them are released soon. |

Omotayor123:Have you investigated the case that made you conclude that the said Uche is innocent? Murder is a capital offense and for that singular reason, it's not bailable both at the station or by a competent court of law, no matter who the suspect is, until investigation is completed and the suspect is deem innocent. Law knows no exams or someone who have an exam to right, so, he has an exam to write holds no water. |

post=58468991:Now this makes a ton of sense. There are questions everyone on that bus needs to answer. If the Driver successfully avoided a collision with the trailer how then did the guy get the injury at all. If he was sitting at the extreme right side of the backseat of the Bus, how is his injury on the left side of his head? (Assuming he got hit by some trailing part from the truck maybe due to his head hanging outside the bus, his injury would be on the right side or top of his head not the left.) If they all witnessed the blood and saw the need to rush the Guy to the hospital, why didn't anyone of them report the matter to the Police (which is the logical thing to do). Why did the Bus driver wipe down his vehicle and destroy crucial evidence that could have helped the police in the investigation? Where is the Dead Guys Phone? Like I said on the other thread, I know the Police have their issues, but that account didn't make sense to me and I needed to hear an alternative version of the story. Good Work by the Police.. Someone isn't telling the truth. |
